**Seems to be a type-o from the mizuno website. Mizuno has the MP-5 listed from 84-87 and the MS from 90-92. Looks as if these have been inverted as all the other MP versions were released after their MS counterpart. For this reason I have listed the dates as I think they should be.

See the picture of them all at this link

All info from the following two sites. (When dates conflicted I went with Mizuno's site)

I am "unworthy" of blades but I have a set of Wilson Staffs that I enjoy playing with. Had them going pretty good in the fall and spring, but switched to my current bag for "scramble season". I still take the blades to the range, but can't quite get the confidence to put them back in regular play. Plus I have a couple of scrambles coming up and need to stay familiar with the "scramble" bag. Hope to return in the fall though for "laid back" golf.

I'm currently playing a set of Titleist ZM blades. You'll find thousands of posts here about who should and shouldn't play blades... etc. But it's not about the club, it's about the swing.

My next set will likely be something along the lines of the AP2 or MP58. I don't think I'm doing myself any favors when the idiot swings come along.

delav, try out some mizunos too. Ive had the AP2's and they cant compare to the mizunos IMO, although I didnt care for the mp58 as much as their others.

I have 4 Irons sets.

I have the new 710 MB Titelist (blades), Nike Tw Blades(blades), 710 Titelist Ap2's (Cavitys) and the Ben Hogan Apex FTX(Progresive set).

I love all these clubs, have great feel. I still play blades at the moment, but if I stuggle with ball stricking after a swing change I might use my Ap2's for a little more forgivness while, im working on a major swing change.

I have a set of Ram TW Grind blades that I pull out every now and again. They have a much shorter blade than modern clubs, so they're very demanding to hit.

I see a few people play a mixed set of clubs with some blades and some cavity backs. Is this common? Are the sets purchased this way or do you have to piece them together?

I am a beginner and in no way going to try blades anytime soon. Is the main difference that blades have more workability and less forgiveness?

This first time i swung a golf club was on 5/8/10....

Just had some new Nike VR Blades sent to house. Played with some a short while back and hit them fairly well. When I return from Afghanistan, Ill finally get to play them after a fitting. Man I sure hope I can still hit a ball...

Of all my blades the Mizunos are slightly ahead of the pack. The Apex and TA1s are pretty close though - a new set of grips on the Clevelands and it's a toss up.

I'm backwards-the Mizunos I have now are GI and replaced my Titleist 775s (also GI). My blades are MacGregor and Nike.
