I just picked this up. I don't play a single Callaway club, but for $100 it is the best deal I could find on a decent cart bag. I guess now I will have to play Callaway balls to justify it. :)

Itching for the start of the season up here, but there is still so much snow on the ground!

I hope not :)

I was really debating on getting this bag, but in the end I saw it as a bag made by a company named Callaway, not a club maker selling a branded bag. It was the best bag I can find for $100 in my area. I wanted a Taylor Made bag, but at $200 for the same caliber I couldn't justify it to my clubs

It's a great looking bag.  I've got a TM Stratus and hate it.  Not enough space.  That Callaway appears to have ample storage capacity.  Good purchase, especially for $100!  I just ordered the Sun Mountain C-130.  Can't wait!

I have a black Taylormade Monaco SL cart bag. I also have a cheap stand bag for the range and par 3 courses I play at.

Just picked up the Nike Tour Cart Bag II.   Had the Ping Latitude V2, but retired it because clubs stuck all the time.  I love this bag.  Lots of storage and looks good (I have black and red bag).

Do you ride or walk? I'm wondering how this bag would be for walking.

Taylormade Monoco cart bag ... certainly can't justify a staff bag with my game.

No one is rocking the Ping anymore huh? I have the second generation Hoofer. It's badly in need of an upgrade, I want something with a 14 way divider; I'm tired of all the grips tangling at the bottom of the bag.

I usually play with my Sun Mountain Four 5 carry bag. Great bag if you like walking the course and getting some good ol fashioned exercise. When I'm pushing or carting I like to use my C-130 Cart Bag.

I do both. If i play by myself i usually walk. But this is my second Sun Mountain Bag. I upgraded to the 4.5 for the 14 way divider and it's the Best Bag ive had hands down. It's perfect for walking.

    • Day 11: did mirror work for a while. Worked on the same stuff.
    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
