According to John Cook, Tiger's swing was "clicking" on Tuesday: http://progolftalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/17/woods-friend-john-cook-says-new-swing-clicked-on-monday/

Then Hank Haney commented: http://progolftalk.nbcsports.com/2011/02/18/observations-from-hank-haney-on-tiger-woods-progress/

Just thought it would spark an interesting topic.

I heard the same thing from someone in Foley's group on Tuesday before I'd seen any of this John Cook stuff. So I'm inclined to believe it, but...

John Cook said something similar last year before the Masters, so... we'll have to wait and see.

At risk of getting flamed, Twitter sounds lamer and lamer every day. I haven't seen such a blatant cirlcle jerk like this since the Bridgestone ball fitting "round table" ad I saw on The Golf Channel yesterday. I wanted to smash my dad's TV. Anyway, this story reminds me of that commercial.

Clicked on the course or range? His swing has been a work in progress for some time now, he will have times where it feels perfect and times where it doesn't hold up. Tiger saying it clicked won't make me bet large numbers on him, but I do hope he'll get more consistent with his new swing.

Haney didn't have much to say. But you wouldn't expect him to do so. He's probably too busy with the young wife!!

From Cook:

"Ever have one of those perfect range sessions? Apparently, Woods had one when Cook was there.

“He was really feeling something special on Tuesday,” he said. “[J]ust to stop and watch and see the excitement he had on his face and the flight of the golf ball as to what he was explaining to me what was going on in San Diego and Dubai.

“He said it’s way better and way different. And this only happened on Monday and Tuesday he was just feeling it even more.”

Maybe Tiger found something.

But will it go back to the Lost and Found?

That's the question.

not a bad move to get that out there before a match play tourney---if he can back it up

Who said this? Oh yeah, John 'One-Of-Tiger's-Biggest-Buddies' Cook?

I think the easy argument would be "they wouldn't say anything."

I thought he was already "clicking" on the range he just wasn't carrying it over to the course.

Its all moot until he wins something but still interesting to come out and say this I suppose.
