This looks to be a good one, all of the top 50 players in the world have entered this tournament which has no cut line.

The groups on the first two days gave us some interesting playing partners to say the least.

I know there are a couple of threads on the groups already, but I don't see the point with a thread just to discuss the groups when we can have a thread for the entire tournament.

Out of 14 driving holes, what's the over/under on Poulter getting to his tee ball first? I'm going with 10 times.

I'm actually really excited to watch this tourny.  I love to pairings and the tv times for them.  We will get to see most of Tigers and Phils round.  I think Tiger will place top 3 if not win solely on the fact that his group is strong and I think he will mentally have to step up his game.  If he can't get excited and focused for the first two rounds he is done.

My other to favs are Kaymer and Stricker.

i'm sayin the leading first round score is -4...if tiger is E or worse he's done for. he's not a comebacker like he used to be. I can't wait for this thing to start...why in bloody hell is it starting at 11ish? why not earlier. lol

In one of the groupings threads perhaps? Just giving you the gears since there are three threads for the same event which is confusing.

I agree, which is why I made this thread to cover the entire tournament, not just the groupings the first two days. Or should we have one thread for each day? After the first two rounds, those two other threads doesn't serve much of a purpose, this will at least last the rest of the tournament.

      Played 9 yesterday at Cape Ann in Essex, MA. Played awful with maybe 4 really good shots but the course is so beautiful being right on the water it's hard to be to upset. I haven't practiced in forever so I'll need to get going on that.  Been better getting to the gym since I've been out here in NH. I came out from Minnesota for my well being so I figured I should be working on just that. Still hovering around 226 which surprises me as my sister in law feeds me quite well. Excited to be back east for the Celtics coronation. Go Celts!!!
