It's been two tough years for Williams given the problems Tiger has had on and off the course.  I'm not sure how Williams gets paid if Tiger doesn't play.  I'm guessing he gets a base salary, but he's not getting any bonus money for tournament wins right now.  They've been together a long time, so until it's confirmed from a reliable source I doubt it's true.

I'll believe it when I see it.

I do care, yes, when it comes to Stevie and Tiger because Stevie is perhaps the best caddie out there on tour. Give Tiger an average caddy, and he may miss a few shots here and there due to yardage miscalculations.

As for these "rumors", I'm definitely not believing them until there is a source. Stevie is one of Tiger's best friends and if he didn't leave him after the huge sex scandal, he's not going to leave him now. He knows Tiger will be coming back soon and he wants to be with Tiger when (if) he wins those 18th and 19th majors.

Fanny will always be the best caddie on tour

It also appears to me that the Steve/Tiger combo has either gone a bit stale or the friendship is not what it used to be, judging from their interactions on the course in recent years. Just something I personally picked up on.

Don't know what you're talking about. The only thing you might be seeing is the dullness because he hasn't been playing very well. I watch every minute of every golf tournament he plays in, and their relationship hasn't gone a bit stale at all. They communicate as good as ever and are still really good friends, as Tiger said just a few months ago on Jimmy Fallon.

It all comes down to money, when Tiger wins they both make big bucks.  When Tiger doesn't play, he still has huge endorsement deals to pay the bills with but not sure how Steve is compensated.  Steve and Tiger have been happy together because they made a lot of money together, we'll see how strong the friendship is if Tiger isn't able to come back this season.

Don't have him blocked anymore. And even when I did, I could still click on "View" to see his post. Blocking doesn't do much on this site.

    • OK - I think we should narrow down a weekend, and start there.  We're going to try to do this in June. I've created a Doodle poll where everyone can vote for the options that work for them.  Please include your username so I can track/post results. Doodle Doodle is the simplest way to schedule meetings with clients, colleagues, or friends. Find the best time for one-to-ones and team meetings with our user-friendly calendar tool. Get started today! (I only put in the Saturday dates, but assume the outing would include Friday - Sunday). Once we select a date that works for the most people, I'll start to line up courses and schedule and go from there.
    • Option #2 because I'd add the condition that it's in a tournament. Because that'd mean I'd break par in a tournament. And I already have a hole in one.
    • Hole in one is nice, but those low rounds stick in my memory better. I have two holes in one (and a third on a pitch and putt course which I count as a half). I've shot in the 60s three times in the last 10 years or so and I remember each one pretty well. I'd take the low round.
    • Would You Rather #68: Would you rather make a hole-in-one on a perfectly struck shot, during a round where you otherwise played pretty poorly.  or  Would you rather play well all day and beat your personal best by let's say 3 strokes, but with no eagles.    I'd take option 2.   Although option 1 is always exciting, and rewarding. playing well all day is very exciting because I can also do the opposite.
    • I've got two of them.  So for me it depends. If I'm playing with friends and they know me. I'm taking the hole-in-one. Because they know my game anyway. Let's go for the awesome moment/bragging rights.  If I'm in a tournament I'm taking the low round, because I want to win.  If I'm playing with a bunch of strangers, and I just show up, and get paired up. I'm leaning toward taking the low round. I could leave them thinking I'm better than I am. Plus for me that would be a 73. ... That would be cool.
