Yeah, Tiger has won on Sunday, but that's not his signature.  He's known for winning on Friday or Saturday.

I agree with the above that tiger's putting will prevent him from going low.  The only way he wins is if a 69 will somehow get him into a playoff.

It's not really impossible that a 69 might even win it for Woods or Fowler. I really don't think Levin can hold it together. Sabbatini looked very solid yesterday and I guess he is the favourite today, but if he can't break par, it will be close.

I hope that Fowler and Woods feed a little bit off each other and battle it out on the back nine. But if Woods still feels his flu, I guess he won't be able to keep it going later in the day.

At some point Spencer has to close out a tournament.  He's given away two or three in the last two years; he's clearly a very good player.  No reason why he can't kick his Sunday blues today.

My predictions:

1) Levin stinks up the joint.  Percentages aren't in his favor today after those hole-outs yesterday.

2) Fowler wins.

3) Tiger & Sabbatini fight at some point after each one double-bogies the 12th hole to fall out of contention and Tiger hits into Sabbatini on the 13th hole.

Side note: I really enjoy watching Justin Rose's practice swings for some reason.  It's very transparent what he's working on or trying to emphasize, and I seem to be able to relate to the moves he's trying to make.

Agreed, he looked sloppy at times yesterday, but chipped in twice and made a couple of other bombs which made his game look better than it was.  If the conditions turn tough and it becomes a round of survival, then I like Tiger's chances, otherwise I would place my bet on Fowler.

How can Tiger hit into a guy playing behind him?

Crap!  Okay I meant that the other way around.  Sabbatini hits into Woods.  I was also kidding about Fowler.  I meant that he would 3 putt from 5 feet.

If Levin can avoid the big mistakes on the long game, his putting should help him win this one. 2.5 shots difference between Tiger and Levin on strokes gained.

Woods turning on the heat, Fowler really struggling, Levin and Sabbatini looking calm so far. I have no clue how this will play out.

Levin's swing really doesn't look that much better than mine, it should only be about the looks not the scores

Did y'all see Sabbatini intentionally chunk a divot at Fowler on the driving range?

I did not, but Faldo mentioned that Sabbatini and Fowler were "going at it" a bit on the range.  I took it to mean they were having a bit of fun with each other.  Is that how you saw it?

Woods is -4 thru 7 holes and only one back, could get interesting!

Levin is definitely holing some putts, but I can't help but to think of Lee Trevino's quote -

Two things that don't last - dogs chasing cars & pros putting for pars.

    • Imma throw a dart in the dark as no one can tell what is happening once every fourth iron shot per your OP. This might sound counterintuitive but if ball position is too far back in the stance folks are known to throw down clubhead steeply. Could be happening. And yes, @billchaois not wrong; clubhead tends to bottom out wherever your pressure is. So slide forward (not sway), then hit.
    • Day 300 (!): did a stack session.
    • Day 24: Missed my weekly round due to a last minute little league makeup game this morning. Managed to get in some backswing rehearsals while grilling sausages for dinner, and then putted around the office/laundry room after dinner.
    • but I don't understand how that's possible you still want your head to stay back you don't want the upper body coming forward and plus I've tried feeling that and it made my fat shots worse and I then tend to pull and sky all my shots especially with driver because I get in front of it dont need force plates to see i finish on my left side
