Just read that it is about 100 degree fahrenheit for the whole week. I can't imagine there will be a lot of visitors.

They would have to pay me some money to watch this tournament live in that heat...

100ºF is pretty hot. Wear all white and bring an umbrella. ;-) Another course playing tough. I like it. Not the ususal birdie fest.

A little uphill.  Green has an opening on the front so you can chase one on.  Maybe a headwind today there.  Other players are hitting 3WD too.

Well, my last post (yesterday) about Tiger's game was about how his ball striking is much better than his short game, but he has gone the opposite way today. Erratic driving, but pretty good chips and pitches so far.

Woods with two nice up and downs from about 90 yards on 14 and 15 and then on 16 sinks a 45-footer for eagle.

I wonder how long he can keep missing fairways and having to get U&D; from 100 yards. Scrambling has saved him so far. Could easily have been five over par.

Scoring doesn't seem to be too awesome today. Any round under par will move you up the boards a fair bit, it looks like.

I wonder how long he can keep missing fairways and having to get U&D; from 100 yards. Scrambling has saved him so far. Could easily have been five over par.

He hasn't missed the fairways by much, but as he said yesterday, there is no graduated rough. If even he has to lay up when he's a couple of yards off the fairway, the rough must be brutal. That said, his chipping session with Sean yesterday apparently went very well, because his short game has been brilliant today.
