i had te feeling i just slightly overhit it. i was shouting the ball to get down, but the ball just came back at me after the bounce.  holed my 3 feet par put

Depends on the pin. More often than not its s knockdown 52 with enough spin to bounce once and stop if it lands on flat ground.

I only hit my 56* wedge just shy of 90 yds. I love the 100 yd shot, though, because it's a perfect GW with a 9 o'clock backswing with the arms. I love that distance.

100 yards is right inbetween my sandwedge and gap wedge . .so it depends on if I'd prefer to miss short or long.  My preference would be to be able to miss long and hit the gap wedge.  I love my gap wedge (Wilson Staff) wheras my sand wedge (a Nike of some kind) is just ok.

I don't think I can even hit my sand wedge 100 yards.  I'll try tonight.  It will likely ruin my entire golf game/swing, but I will try.

101 yard shot with exactly 3 feet of backspin, resulting in a hole out.

All kidding aside, it depends. If I have green to work with, a 56* or even 50* with a lower trajectory and skip it in. If I need to fly it all the way to the hole, hard 60*.
