I'm out that weekend. I can do 2 Feb or 8-9 February. Other than that my February is booked. But I'm in GD's boat--I only have like 7 available weekend days between New Years and the 2nd week of March.

March could be okay too. My birthday is the 23rd. :)

Hmmmm, if things work out, even Mr. Squint could make it.

Then we'd have to change the name to the Spring outing.

Kind of what I was thinking…. I'd rather not wait that long to do this. I had thought that January would be good, but since there are enough issues with it, February is fine; I'd rather not push it back any further than that, especially since we'll be doing a Spring outing as well.

At the very least, we could change it to the "Spring-like weather condition outing". Although, February/March gets pretty cold.

Let's try to do something in Feb then, I guess we'll shoot for that 3rd week (sorry K Troop).  Even if we don't have as many people as last time.  Then the Spring outing can be in April/May.

I'm available 2 Feb and 8-9 Feb.

If it means anything I'm in GA from mid-March to the end of June, so I'll definitely miss the next one!!!

I personally don't care about the Super Bowl. But the 8/9 is out.

I'd be good to do it on the Super Bowl if nobody else cares… Courses should probably be a little more open I'd assume anyways. Or, if not, we can do the third weekend in Feb. Doesn't really matter to me.

I guess we should finalize the date, are we doing it Feb 2nd or Feb 16th?

16th? This way Drew could be there?

Let's go with the 16th then.  Maybe shoot for a 10am tee.  Goose Creek?

I'm out for this one, unfortunately. Both the 2nd (wife's baby shower in the morning, Superbowl in the evening) and the 16th (work trip) are bad for me in February. Sorry to have to miss it, but I'll look forward to reconvening in April.

    • Day 2 March 13th, 2025 Hit a small bucket checking stuff on video. Mostly back to controlling swing length and right elbow.
    • Video 1 of 2025 Lower body is better. Right knee kicks out less. Left knee straightens better. I don’t have that knee bounce post impact. Backswing and downswing with the arms, needs a bit of work. Nice OTT move there. Video 2 of 2025 - hey I can keep it short.  back to trying to keep the swing shorter and control the right elbow. Lots of half backswing feel and very straight arms. Also trying to start the downswing sooner so the swing doesn’t go on forever with the turn. Got to limit it to 90 degrees shoulder and 45 degrees hips.
    • Day 236: did a stack session.
    • Day 164 - 2025-03-13 Got the new QuadMAX. Didn't get a chance to test it, but got to Golf Evolution about 45 minutes before lessons, so I did some backswing and downswing work in.
    • @klineka has already addressed this stuff, but as I said in my first answer… distance control is typically more important. Knowing exactly how far a ball will carry is huge.
