Mr Playerhater is another alias / groupie of cary's that follows him around golf forums. This personality's job is to annoy cary and act passive aggressive towards him. This is quite a cult/show cary has developed, it's no wonder he washed out as a pro golfer.

No for some reason people thought that at wrx I had been on there since 2007 and I am a student of Cary and a friend of his but everyone kep thinking I was him. But I am absolutely not Cary Schoen. I'd like to stay on topic as I really am here to just discuss golf topics. So what do you think about that trace of hogans right hip. For years most have noticed how he dips in his swing and increases his tilts on the downswing. I myself was always a player who's head raised through impact and came out of that forward tilt. I was never able to fix it till recently when I learned about hogans hip movement. What are your thought's on that trace?

funny, when I read the first post, I knew he was just giving himself enough rope to hang himself & had a pretty good idea what was going to happen to the OP in the end ... and I would have been right.      We've all seen these types who have an inability to provide supporting evidence for their "theories" come and go ...

If he's your "friend" you should tell him that trolling isn't a very good marketing strategy. Calling people names and acting like a child doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in potential students. You can also tell him he's a douche nozzle.

Ok so Cary got banned man I've never seen anyone get banned so fast just for not laying out all his theories in one post. To me it seemed like he was encouraging discussion on a topic about the lower body he was interested in. This forum seems jaded must have some baggage from some previous snake oil salesman.

He wasn't. He repeatedly failed to add any actual content to the discussion. He asked questions to try to get other people to say things (so he could then say "wrong! I know the answer!") and posted pictures. That was it.

And since you're part of the shit show that is Cary Schoen, you're out too. You've held this play several times already, and we're not interested in being party to it.

Cripes. This chasing of the Hogan swing is ridiculous sometimes. He probably wasn't even the best player ever. There's only a mystique because he came along at the right time - just when there was enough video to get some moving pictures of him, but not so much that people can really know what he did. Combine that with his self-cultivated mystique, and his work ethic. Hell, Byron Nelson may have been a better golfer than Ben Hogan. Jack and Tiger have done pretty darn well with swings that nobody would confuse with Ben Hogan's.

It's stupid. It's a waste of time. Here's a shortcut to anyone out there who wants to know whether a theory is possibly legitimate or a crackpot theory about the golf swing: If the bulk of the swing method hinges upon "Hogan did this" then walk away. Every crackpot in history seems to want to chase the "Hogan Secret." (NB: there are plenty of crackpot theories that don't mention Hogan at all, too.)

And Cary will probably be banned within an hour of his release from the Penalty Box anyway.

This is my first post and this thread caused it.  I have lurked here for just a little bit and I don't know this forum that well but this thread reflects poorly on what otherwise seems to be a great site.  This thread serves no purpose and might I suggest it is deleted.  Looking forward to picking up golf again after a 4 year hiatus.

Here's what this thread demonstrates: that we're not idiots. Cary Schoen and his minions have played this song and dance before, and yet they keep on trying, with the same song, and the same dance, and getting the same results.

This forum is incredibly open to discussion of swing theory. I love being challenged on things that make me think. Furthermore, Cary Schoen was given ample opportunity to actually provide something that we could discuss.

All we got were pictures of rocks and balls. Name-calling. Questions.

I'm content with our decision making here.

Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf. Cary Schoen . Cary Schoen golf.

Nah, this thread does serve a purpose. When people search the internet for Cary Shoen they'll find this thread and see what a douche nozzle he is, all without having to endure the unpleasant experience of interacting with him. It's kind of like a public service, in fact I'd recommend everyone make an effort to include Cary Schoen's name in their posts so that this thread can become google's #1 hit for "Cary Schoen" searches.

Is it the same guy doing this over and over or different people trying to hawk different stuff?  I played golf from about 13 years ago until 5-6 years ago (said 4 earlier, didn't realized it had been longer than that).  Wasn't any real forums that I followed back then.  I can imagine this trash on some of the real estate investment forums I have seen.  This seems on par with the "One Simple Trick" advertisements you see sometimes.  Or even better is the "The One (!!) Thing PGA Professionals Will Never (!!!) Tell You!"  Snake Oil is the only recession proof commodity.

Nope, ass-hats provide some level of entertainment usually by being delightfully stupid often in a humorous fashion,  for example Logman was an ass-hat. This Cary Schoen chap has provided no real entertainment value at all therefor he receives the designation "douche nozzle".

Hogan was one of my grandfather's closest friends.  When I was a kid and we'd go to get togethers at my grandparent's house, Hogan would often be there.  He was a quiet and sulking kind of guy, especially after the accident, but if you got him alone then he was a fine conversationalist.

My grandfather was big into golf and he got me into it when I was very young.  Hogan would often join us, but he hated watching me swing.  I hit the ball allright, but he was nevery happy with my technique.  And he was always telling me this one thing that seemed simple, but took me many years to fully comprehend.  And to make matters worse, he'd always tell me that I couldn't tell anyone.  I had to take it to my grave.

Well, I realize now that Hogan conveyed to me his "secret."  It's not so much a "secret" as a way of using your right elbow and left knee.  I promised him that I would never tell anyone, and I almost never speak of it, but I do get angry when people accuse Hogan of manufacturing a secret.  He did in fact have a secret that has allowed me to average in the low sixties throughout my golfing life, which has been on again off again, more off, due to personal concerns and commitments.

But all of you out there looking - keep looking.  It's really almost clear exactly what he's doing in the video link below:

Are you sure that wasn't Col Robert Hogan?  He had a lot of secrets.  There were tunnels and hidden microphones.  He kept those wacky Nazis busy for sure.  Then there was the porn stash and the mob hit.
