LMAO...... I read all these posts about $55K cars and you can barely fit a bag in..... I am so glad I passed on the BMW... I actually selected a 2011 Hyundai Sonata over a 2011 BMW 328i when I bought my last new car. I can fit 3 cart bags in the trunk, 4 if you take out the drivers and 4 sets of shoes and a bunch of other things. It's great cause we can take less cars to the course but sucks cause I drive and can't enjoy as many drinks in the clubhouse after. Plus Hyundai is a PGA Tour sponsor as well. Car rides great (I replaced the stock tires with Mich Primacy MX4), fits 4 adult men fine and gets great gas mileage. I already told the wife I will probably get another one in 3 years when my son turns 16 and I give him this one.

I recently picked up a 2013 Sonata. I love the ride and I can get 4 sets of clubs in the trunk.

my get up and go musta got up and went..

Yay!  This is what I have.    Of course, something of this size is probably not necessary if you don't have a big family, but I love mine.  The clubs and accessories live in the back full time!  My wife got me one of these for Fathers day last year and it works perfectly.

I could have told you you'd have problems with these.  A4 is only good at cornering (changing directions) and the A6 is only good at accelerating.  But neither of them are as bad as the A7 ... all it wants to do is crash into things.

Those were really bad 5SK themed jokes.

Now that's just WRONG!

My advice would be to avoid a Volvo C30.

My father bought one, and discovered that a small suitcase is wholly beyond its luggage-accommodating capabilities. Golf clubs? You'd need to put a tow bar on the stupid thing and buy a trailer.

Myself...I'm a Jeep man. I can't recall the last time I worried about whether something would fit in the trunk.

I inherited a Mazda 3 over the Holidays. Haven't tried yet but I'm guessing the driver will need to come out of the bag and be jimmied in there somehow after the rest of the clubs are in.

Note that the OP hasn't put in an appearance since we broke his rules and started running down Audi and otherwise discussing cars not of German or Swedish origin.

I have a 2013 Audi a6 and I can get 4 bags length wise in the trunk and I get 30 mpg on the highway with the 3.. For the person with a bad Audi experience, not sure when you had the cars but they have changed drastically and are now rated one of the more reliable cars available, and hands down the most reliable European car. I was concerned with reliability initially after driving Toyota products most of my life but the car has been great so far, 50k miles in

Say what?  That's a soccer mom's car.

Or Soccer coaches @Fourputt !  I coached for 11 seasons.  It came in handy shuttling players to travel game! ;-)

Hei again, some good points&hints.; thx for the moment. I would love to know, if someone tried to put a bag in a A5/S5/RS5 coupé (not sportsback... don't like it, and no cabrio (still not living in florida)). Thx.

My wife has a Hyundai Sonata Limited. We've packed it with golf bags and suitcases in the trunk, 3 people inside with a cooler full of sandwiches and hit the road from Miami to Raleigh, North Carolina a number of times and found it carried a lond with great stability and comfort.

I have a somewhat older Honda CRV. It doesn't fit your horsepower desires, but I can put golf bags in the area behind the back seat at somewhat of an angle. A buddy with a newer one says his is wider and his clubs go ing straight across easily. The Honda Pilot, being slightly larger again, and with options to make it more personal, might be a good consideration.

Neither one of our personal cars is particularly large, but they fit your carrying needs. It really doesn't sound like you should have trouble finding something to do the job and you could concentrate on something more to your tastes with your needs secondary to what you actually enjoy driving.

I've had a good day if I don't fall out of the cart...
