Analyzr Pro 2.0 Betas

The last download has Pro and Student and expiring licenses for both.

I'll definitely give it a try.  I use the student version after every range session.

New or improved main features:

Live video recording.

Pictures in the library.

MUCH better recording of analyses.

Export to YouTube, The Facebook, and Flickr.

Retina graphics.

Is anyone interested in "testing" this out? The license I'd create would expire at the end of March.

As I only do a bit of work with this program, I am not noticing much difference.  I only use #2.  I am not seeing much in terms of graphics improvement.

The graphics are the same if you're not on a Retina Mac.

First time I uploaded a video to YouTube, it told me it was a duplicate video (which it was because I'm an idiot). That's on me, obviously. Small thing I did notice was that the error message it gave me was cut off: Clicking the button to view on YouTube showed me that it was a duplicate. Uploading a new video worked no problem. Then I tried uploading to Facebook, which did not work. I got this error message after logging in: Then when I clicked Okay, I got this: And the program locked up. I couldn't remove that popup, so I had to force quit. Relaunched, tried the same thing, same result. (Note: I didn't white-out a URL there or anything either. No idea what it's talking about.) Live video recording worked without a problem using my webcam, and I liked analysis recording. Got the same Facebook error when I tried to upload one of those. Flickr uploading worked great. Nothing else as far as I could tell. Works really great aside from Facebook. Do wish that I could upload screenshots to Facebook though. I would probably use that more than uploading videos there.

We'll also try to pre-populate the "Title" field with the name of the video.

I think we may add that in a later release. It's tough to say, because YouTube is the big one, but The Facebook is a close second. I don't want to add "Upload to…" only one thing (The Facebook). But maybe as a second third (forgot we had the email button) button.

I don't know if this is a bug or simply my unfamiliarity with the Pro version of Analyzer but I can't save Live Recordings in Student. I create a student and can't seem to do anything with it, can't drop a video in the student, can't open a folder for the student. Again, maybe I'm not understanding the purpose of creating a student in the first place?

If you simply mean that you can't save videos into "STUDENTS" (as in "STUDENTS, MODELS, and OTHER") then that's simply because you need to create a Student, and then save the media to Lessons beneath the students: http://cl.ly/image/3W1x0q1z0W3x

Just add a lesson to the Student.

Cool. Not a whole lot to check out - just the newer features. And pictures in the library was always kind of supported if you knew to change the extension on a .jpg to .mov. :D

Oh Shucks.... I just missed out on the boat :( I would very much loved to trial test your Analyzr Pro app. As i am full-time teaching daily with 150-180hrs monthly i currently resort to V1 on my desktop PC and Ubersense (which i prefer more than V1) on my iPad as that's the only stable ones for both my gadgets.

I haven't come across a Mac based one til i bumped into this forum. I would love to give it a try whole heartedly for my Macbook Pro as i teach extensively and can feedback you of any real needs i encounter.

Anyway, since it's expired.... oh well. Cheers

Oh... Just saw your website page. The Switch Code offer is cheaper than PGA disc. Oh ok... I'll consider since i've been using Ubersense on my Ipad (mainly) and iphone i felt that that's the best so far. Do you plan to roll out any Analyzr model for iPad that's as intuitive and easy to use? Let me try it out and see 1st. Pricing wise... Ubersense is free on my iPad ... Hmmm. Let's see how.
