I find it harder to watch Keegan's putter style than Adam's.

It looks like Keegan is performing a seppuku every time he putts....

Not sure what's tougher to look at: Scott's putter, or Williams' 90210 sideburns?

HAHAHAHAHA! I seriously love Adam Scott's game (except the putter). He's a top 5 fav for me, but Stevie Williams and his Dylan McKay sideburns can take a 2 iron (bent to a 1 iron) to the back of the skull...little :censored:

EDIT: Holly sh*t...that dumb putting stroke just cost him a 3 foot birdie

Look on William's face after that missed birdie was worth the price of admission

Putting style aside, It would make my goddamn week if Keegan won this to be honest. (And not just because he's on my fantasy team ;-) )

Scott has completely fallen apart. Keegan may still have a chance with Every in that thick rough.

They keep showing a close-up of Every with sweat under his left eye, and talking about "emotions" as if the sweat is a tear lol. This commentary and productions of PGA events makes me want to throw my head through a wall.

Another pulled broom sweep lol...I think I saw Stevie slip his business card (hidden in a Chipotle burrito) to Patrick Reed.

Scott is screwing me so hard in fantasy. UGH. McIlroy did the same at the Honda!

You could still get some top 3 bonus points. Could be worse...I know a lot of people started the tournament with Bubba, hahah

Bogey for Every on 18. Keegan one back, Scott two.

Another week where the big name collpases and a surprise champion emerges. Story of the year. Makes you wonder if the green jacket's going to go to a guy nobody is even thinking of.

Fans always say they like "parity" until they actually get it. ;-) Like the guy said in Tin Cup."Heroes. It's heroes that I need."

Tiger haters typically clamored for parity.  Those that liked him enjoyed watching him pummel the competition.

Parity isn't bad in something like the NFL where there's a limited number of teams.  There are 100- 150 golfers in every tournament and typically no one really is interested in seeing a non Top 30 or unknown player winning.

Watching these guys collapse over the last few weeks really makes tiger's record on Sunday impressive. Its just so hard to hold the lead. The fields are so deep.

    • It’s winter here and time hitting at my indoor place.  This year I bought and sold a few sets so I didn’t settle in on anything. For this coming season, starting now I have a choice to make.  What set would you guys use? 1.  Nike Vapor Pro irons - They are like new, hit them some last year before I had to demo other sets.  I love them, original grips, barely used so I’m almost not wanting to use them to keep their value up.  Standard LLL and standard grips. 2. Taylormade P7TW irons - Still in the box.  Got them over a year ago but had too much to hit, never used them.  Have used a set in the past and loved them.  Ended up with my own set custom fit to me -1/4”, 1 degree flat midsize grips.  These are probably not as valuable because they are still available and they are fit to me. I hate to put the Nikes away but it makes more sense to save them than the TW’s…. I dunno….
    • Day 215 (3 Dec 24) - Another very chilly day - opted to work on easy pitches in the backyard. Worked thru the irons and wedges - focused on foot position and tempo.
    • Yes. I believe in using the same ball all of the time, including chipping and putting practice. I use the orange Callaway Supersoft.  Only $25 per dozen, and sometimes on sale for $20.
    • A 5400 yd course is not that short for gents driving it 160 yards considering the approach shot lengths they are going to be faced with on Par 4s.  Also, for the course you are referring to I estimate the Par 4s have to average longer than 260 yds, because the Par 5s are 800 yds or so, and if there are four Par 3s averaging 130 the total is 1320 yds.  This leaves 4080 yds remaining for 12 Par 4s.  That is an average of 340 per hole. Anyway, if there are super seniors driving it only 160ish and breaking 80 consistently, they must be elite/exceptional in other aspects of their games.  I play a lot of golf with 65-75 yr old seniors on a 5400 yd course.  They all drive it 180-200 or so, but many are slicers and poor iron players.  None can break 80. I am 66 and drive it 200 yds.  My average score is 76.  On that course my average approach shot on Par 4s is 125 yds.  The ten Par 4s average 313 yds.  By that comparison the 160 yd driver of the ball would have 165 left when attempting GIR on those holes.
