Boring?  BORING?  Mike & Mike, Mad Dog Radio, etc etc how could these guys even use the word?  Did these sportscasters even watch the tournament, or did they tune in for the last 3 holes and expec

I'd like to make a suggestion to the Augusta people: Quickly write into your tournament by-laws a contingency tradition; if the son of a former winner wins the tournament, his dad gets to prese

It's not the weather, though, as you may expect ... But rather, Phil Mickelson is just starting his practice round. ;)

LOL did you guys see Weir's caddie shake his head in disbelief when he hole that putt just now? He can't believe Mike's playing well either.

Weir has missed 9/14 cut this season - very surprised he's playing so great at Augusta National. What a turn around this week. Maybe it'll last into the regular PGA tour schedule.

On another note, what's with the deer-hunting shirts Westwood has been wearing....new fashion style?

Darn it, Bill Haas. I knew it was too good to be true.

I wish I was cool enough to have had Mike Weir somewhere in the contest this week, regardless of whether he collapses in a hole or two or not. Fun to see him doing well.

Haha!  Touche. Whoops, sorry Randall.  It took me 5 more minutes to say the exact same thing you said.  What can I say ... I'm slow.

Lol- I agree it's unlikely to budge from +4 though! I predicted +5 or +6 earlier in the thread, so I'll be wrong. Darn that Bubba Watson. If he only got to -5, then I'd have had a chance.

Anyone notice that Kevin Stadler had his "Srixon" logo blacked out with red sharpie? I'm curious to know if he switched balls just for the masters. Obviously he's under contract with Srixon or else he wouldn't have done so, if he did indeed switch balls.

Edit: one random reference deserves another

It was a reference to I am the Walrus , not that random since the Stadler's nickname is The Walrus.

On a scale of one to octopus pants, I give it an eight.

I am patiently waiting until the end of the day to quote myself from this morning. ;)

@Kieran123 on a roll today.  LOL.

Yeah, at first I was thinking I didn't like it, but it's grown on me.  I'm still not big on the saddle shoes look any more, but he's really coordinated so I think he makes it work.  Bonus points for being ready just in case a rugby game breaks out on the range after the round.

Bubba Watson: “And then learning how to refocus, repractice, get back to the level that I think I should be at…top-25 player in the world. Not going to say top-five player in the world. Sorry, Patrick Reed.”

    • Yes I have 2* weaker loft on my irons. Because I love traditional lofts and I hit it equal distance with 36*, but with more spin.
    • And with that, you lose. (In the minds of many.)
    • Perhaps that guy is(was) the exception? Plus, I think the 6,000,000 number might be way low. ... not that it matters. I get your point and I also immediately thought of that guy. It's kind of hard to argue that he's not 100% evil. For now, I think it would be wise to leave him out of the conversation. That one is still very painful for a lot of folks.  Having said all of that. I don't think we've ever had a president who is(was) 100% evil.
    • Yeah, it’s an old topic. Was more appropriate here than the 2021 TOC topic.
    • Haven't posted a video in a while. I have been working really hard on my swing... REALLY HARD.  Anyway, I don't have any new video to post. But I do have some old video to post.  I'm just sticking these here as a benchmark to where I was. The first one is a 2009 video of my driver swing. This is back when I was working with my previous swing coach. I was playing well at the time, handicap was around 10-14. My miss at the time was a snap hook.  I know the exposure stinks. Again, it's just a benchmark for me.    The next two videos are from 2015. At the time I was between swing coaches. My handicap at the time was around 16. Although I distinctly remember playing some great and some horrible rounds at the time. At the time I was really REALLY REALLY fighting the snap hook. Some days the snap hook would be manageable and I would score really well. Other times, I simply wouldn't be able to get off the tee. The swing coach I would get about a year and a half after these videos were taken would be the swing coach I'd end up sticking with up until now.  Again, I'm just sticking these here for my reference.
