I am 27 and have been playing since I was 14. I have recently joined a club and hoping that will aid in bring down my index.

I turned 37 in October. I played some as a kid, but quit from age 14-23. I started to play again when I graduated college. I was addicted shortly there after. I have to say it was a little cool to shoot my age three times and below my age twice this summer. Granted it was on a Par 31 course, but still not too bad. One of my major goals is to be a single digit before my 40th birthday.

33, started playing about 3-4 years ago when my wife got me lessons as a gift. I didn't actually play more than 3 or so rounds per year until this year. Hopefully next year I will really get out there and get my scores down.

29. Started playing when I was 7, spent two years in junior golf, quit for about ten years. Played a few times a year for the next ten years. Finally sort of out of college and grad school and have a steady paycheck, mortgage, kids, minivan, etc. So, obviously, now is the perfect time to start obsessing about this d*** game. I've started playing when I was 27 year old, you young players are very fortunate to be exposed to such a great game so young. A game you can enjoy for a long time.

I just played with a 93 year old golfer last month.
