Think it will happen in the early flights today. They will benefit most from the softer greens.

Joost Luiten could move up the bord today. He's swinging well at the moment. As i'm a duchman

i follow him a lot. If his putting gets better he will be top material for the near future.

For a first timer in the US Open he started very well with an opening even par 70.

They can control that by pushing tees back a bit and tucking the pins a little.

Absolutely, and I think they will try to make it diabolical. Don't think they loved a 65 yesterday and that rain wasn't welcomed. But even with that, soft conditions should allow for a couple low ones today. Should be fun.

Is it true there's no TV coverage from 2-4p CT today? ESPN going away for the World Cup. The afternoon flight today is the one I'm most interested in, Phil, Rory, Speith. Can't believe only half their rounds will be covered??

Well, I'd have no trouble applauding a Kaymer win, and he's a good front-runner who's unlikely to give it away. But I hope it's a bit more interesting than that, and given the toughness of the pin placements available I really can't see anyone cruising to an easy win.

The more I practise, the luckier I hope to get.

Nobody wants an easy win especially at the open. As someone else put it yesterday, I WANT CARNAGE! It was a bit refreshing to see Rose chunk a short pitch yesterday.
