Quick question. The book describes putting yardage markings on your clubs for easy reference. Is this ok to use in tournaments?

Not currently, no. Why? They control pricing and we make significantly less. I think if we count all of our profits we're just over a buck an hour at this point. :)

Just curious. A search for "Lowest Score Wins" on Amazon.com currently tries to sell me Broadie's book.

I was under the impression that listing the book yourself for sale on amazon (as opposed to contracting with amazon to sell (and discount) the book for you) was not overly expensive. At least that was my impression when investigating this for a book my dad wrote.

I am going to be ordering it tonight I think but was just wondering because it would make it a lot easier to buy it on my phone or on my computer off amazon. I have nothing wrong with buying the hard copy and all but I think you could sell some more if that was an option!

      One Swing With Many Clubs, or One Club With Many Swings?

      If I can take a full swing, I'll use the stock club for that yardage.  I can't really get creative.  Just don't have that ability.  In the past, I used a sand wedge for all my shots around the green, opening or closing the face and moving the ball back or forward in my stance to get the flight I wanted.  I am trying now to use different clubs around the green.  I'm less likely to flub it but I struggle with distance control.  More practice required.

      If you like golf podcasts, Hack It Out is tough to beat. Lots of interesting info and it's very funny.  Lou is one of the hosts along with Greg Chalmers and Mark Crossfield.  They love to give each other a hard time.  Lou catches most of it, but he takes it well and dishes out his fair share.  Great show.
