Are you using GG Live? I’ve had a few rounds where it started to record and then just stopped. It’s worked the last two rounds though and I haven’t done anything different.

I've been using GG Live for almost 2 years.   I don't use the phone app at all.   I turn on the device at the course, try to tag each shot and then adjust/fix shots as needed.  Just yesterday, I found out that I can select the tee before I sign the round!   I guess it pays to read all of the instructions.  

I'm also surprised by all of the members that have GG listed in their profile that don't use GG or haven't used it in many moons.   I really enjoy using it even though it keeps telling me I have the same issues over and over.

I removed my sensors from the clubs I was using because I recently changed my full set. I guess now I need to screw them back into the new clubs and learn how to use this gadget.

Questions for all of you...

If I open the app on my phone, I'm not getting the screen to select the golf course. On my iPad, it seems the app looks differently and I can get to that screen.

If I play tomorrow morning and tap the sensors on the device, then come home and select the course, will it sync with the device and pick up the round?

Or do I need to set the whole thing up ahead of time like it suggests before it'll work?

I have conflicting reports about it, some saying they tap the device with the sensor, feel the vibration, then go home and account for the round without having ever turned on the app while at the course.

I hit "play golf" on my phone and then it either detects what course I'm at or I can choose one.

You shouldn't have to select the course after you get home.

I don't know what that means, since you don't have to even set the bag up beforehand. Just set the bag up before you open and edit the round.

I don't use the app on the course at all.

BTW, please put the proper username in for your GAME GOLF account on your profile page. I put a different Dennis Miller in, though I don't think it's right. Your username is not "Dennis Miller" at the GG site.

I'm starting to wonder about their customer service.   I submitted two course changes.   One was three weeks ago and they responded saying they would look into it.   I gave them the course and the new score card.   Two week later, I resubmitted the same request.    Today I removed the round completely.    I guess it doesn't make that much of a difference but my recommendation to others may be swayed by their lack of inactivity.    I've since submitted the second one last week and will give them a couple of weeks to make the correction.    

I don't think this makes me upset or unhappy but like I previously stated, I'd suggest others look at other options too.

I'm starting to wonder if they are starting to die, they were supposed to release an upgrade to the pro in June, and 3 months later nothing.

As with a couple others here, I think I'm also transitioning away from Game Golf and find myself utilizing MyRoundPro more and more since I got a smart watch.

I don't like the fact that GameGolf hasn't brought out any major updates to the stats in quite a while. Two of the main things I like a lot in MyRoundPro that I wish were included in GameGolf are the make % by putt length and proximity to the hole on approach shots. Yes GameGolf shows the % within 15 yds, but on MyRoundPro I can see my average proximity in feet from certain yardage ranges along with % of greens hit from those yardage ranges too. 

Although I will say two things I like more about GameGolf is the ability to edit rounds on the computer instead of having to do everything on my smartphone, and GameGolf has scrambling % as a stat unlike MyRoundPro.

Ya I am thinking of going to the arccoss 360, if things with the pro don't improve by spring I'm switching.

Anyone know what's up with them right now?  I went to review today's round and the Google Maps didn't load.  A little (very little) poking around later, I discover it's ClientBillingNotEnabledMapError from the Javascript load of Google Maps.  I don't know what Google charges or how often, but it feels like this is something they'd be on.

If it's still there tomorrow I'll get in touch with them.  Not sure if they work weekends anyway.

Anyway, I was able to get my round from yesterday to load this morning, confirmed and signed it.

I ran into the same issue trying to upload my round to Game Golf.   I made sure the score was correct but I'm sure there are some corrections that need to be made.   Very frustrating. 

 

I did send them an email to support@gamegolf.com.

They fixed the issue within a couple of days but I can't say I'd still recommend them over something else.

I'm still using the OG unit but given the direction this thread has turned plus my own disappointment in how they've failed to update statistical output, I don't think I'm going to replace it when it dies.

Hopefully by then some other company will have a product that suits my needs.

I kind of just feel like the company is poorly managed. Lacking vision maybe.
