Using the current forum software… no. Post counts stay the same. Which I kind of hate, but… it is what it is.

Who knows how much my post count will fluxuate though ... I imagine the next three weeks where I'm going to be camping and out of wifi range won't help much ... so perhaps it's best to try and monitor and cut it off when I get near 9900, or at 9850 or something like that?

@Golfingdad 's posting has REALLY fallen off these last 2 days.  Hopefully because he's been out playing golf!  He needs to pick up the pace.

I've already figured out my strategy though.  At just the right time, I'm going to start a particularly controversial civil engineering thread that he won't be able to resist.  It's all in the timing.....

Still plenty of time to enter your guess.  Entries will close at an as-of-yet undetermined time.  Kind of like musical chairs, don't be caught when the music stops because you were waiting too long.
