I don't know about anyone else here, but I can't play nine holes. I can't remember the last time I did. I've even gone to the course on weekday mornings intending to play nine and ended up very late to work because I can't stop at the turn.

It's like having sex but not finishing. Golf is supposed to be 18 holes!!

I hate playing 9 holes. But I still do it occasionally if I can't make it out until 6 PM or so.

The Internet Adjustment Formula:
IAD = ( [ADD] * .96 + [EPS] * [1/.12] ) / (1.15)
 
IAD = Internet Adjusted Distance (in yards)
ADD = Actual Driver Distance (in yards)
EPS = E-Penis Size (in inches)

If you've paid for 18 it's tough. I have a monthly pass, so I stop after 9 or play all 18. Just depends how busy I am at work. Unfortunately, busy at work can lead to 0 holes like yesterday. :-(

If.... You don't own a decent set of waterproofs! ( this mainly applies to the uk and parts of Europe, terms and conditions apply) Got mine ready for the morning, forecast torrential rain with strong winds upto 30mph, if it's as bad as they say, I could walk after 13 holes, (it's near the clubhouse)

At first, I read that you would walk the last 5 holes because the cart/trolley gets stuck or something. You have some serious weather in UK.

I would actually like to see a study done on three putting % with regard to STIMP. Just curious if slow greens cause people to want to accelerate their putter through impact causing distance control issues.

If you walk onto another hole and pick up a golf ball that is not yours.

Probably, but the real golfer struggles on slow greens and the wannabe struggles on fast greens. No?

I guess I am out. I almost exclusively post by cellphone and would probably set the thing on fire trying a multiquote, if its even possible on the mobile site. You are not a real golfer unless you know to wet your bag towel to keep your clubs clean during a round.

Winter about to start, I was wearing shorts last week, it's like a different planet today! So... Your not a golfer unless you carry 3 sets of gloves in winter, ( I went through 3 today! Damn rain!)

That sounds pretty cool, actually. BTW, I don't use a glove. I have an obscure and really hard to find size, so the glove makers don't think I should golf. ;-)

      Day 4 (12 Mar 26) - nine hole session with grandson - played along side him from most fwd tees with seven  club setup -D,7w, 5,7,9,55° and putter.  Worked with him on his green side approach play.  Had some great shot making opportunities on my own, best part was seeing him make solid swings.
