Hello TSTers, An idea came up for us to watch a movie every week or every other week, then comment on it all we want. This thread is now a designated, movie suggestion and commentary thread. Let's have that first movie. All suggestions are open. Let's keep the ratings reasonably clean, please. Suggest away. . .

Oh. I thought it was supposed to be a different thread for each movie, or maybe that's what I was hoping it was. ;-)

Looking back through long threads to find something that I might want to watch, or listen to in the case of the music thread, is too cumbersome for me.

I already have The Departed in my movie collection and have seen it multiple times, I'm ready now. Those wicked BAHSTON accents :-)

If you have Netflix, you should check out the original which it's based on - Infernal Affairs, it's in Cantonese, so there are subtitles.

I was in a bar in Boston last summer and this drunk guy was ranting and raving about how he lost his pants. He was wearing pants at the time so I was thoroughly confused until I finally figured it all out...turns out "khakis" and "car keys" are a homonym in Boston.
