I don't think the jeans are the faux-pas - although they are a tad light in color -but rather, the fact that he is wearing a polo TUCKED IN to said jeans.  That's the problem.

A tee shirt, un-tucked over that waist, hiding the belt, and the jeans themselves would be perfectly fine.

I dunno 'bout "perfectly fine", they still look like a soccer mom's weekend bests. The white belt ain't help either...

WTF? Every pair of jeans I own looks like that. Mom jeans? They look like work jeans to me. I don't know a single woman who would wear jeans like that. I know my wife or daughter wouldn't.

I agree with Phan ;)  Ernest, go buy a pair of those jeans for your wife as a gift and see what her reaction is.  (Safe bet, it won't be good) :-P

Like I said ... it's not the jeans, it's the tucked in shirt.  The jeans are fine (should be a little darker, though, cuz its not the 90's anymore)

I don't see a problem with the jeans or the tucked in shirt.

Not bad for work clothes. From the look of it he has a lot of dirt to shovel.

Fairly similar to what I usually wear to work except for the white belt and that most of my clothes have hydraulic oil stains on them.

BTW, you're going to have to get up pretty early in the morning if you want to beat me to making fun of Tiger's jeans. ;-)
http://www.golf.com/photos/tiger-woods-el-cardonal-golf-course-open-december-16/tiger-woods-3 After a few aborted course plans and lots of high-waisted-jeans-clad photo opps, Tiger Woods' first golf course is opening. For real. This December. In Mexico.
[CONTENTEMBED=/t/77725/tiger-woods-el-cordonal-golf-course-to-actually-open layout=block][/CONTENTEMBED]

Tiger would not knowingly wear a pair of mom jeans. My guess is that he got up too early that particular morning and grabbed the wrong jeans at the foot of the bed. Those are LV's jeans lol

... you guys pay that much attention to jeans ?!?!?  Fashionistas in here.

White belt & jeans - THAT is the problem...

It's not the tucked in shirt. It's the high waist. Jeans that they're wearing now have skinny legs and a low waist. High waisted jeans are mom jeans.

Low rise jeans + shirt not tucked in = Plummer's crack. :-O

Usually all it takes to dissuade Plummer's crack on the job is a squirt bottle of blue chalk powder or a handful of flux.

A little unnerving though if the next day the same guy has the same blue crack, hasn't taken a shower, and doesn't even know it.

    • Day 11: did mirror work for a while. Worked on the same stuff.
    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
