I can't find any stats for the field.  Obviously, not all of these were going for distance with driver. #7 was a 3-wood, I believe, according to commentator.

That was closer to a shank, than a block....!

I occasionally make that shot with a fairway wood off the turf.  Say, twice a year.  My body just gets ahead of the swing and the club never has time to close, and bam.  Straight left for me as a left hander.

But I'm like a 9 handicap, not Tiger Woods.

Still managed to get out with just a bogey. Stuck his 48' par putt to 1 inch. Just never know. Can't be as bad as 82 Mikey Weir shot today.... 7 bogeys and a double...

Went onto the other fairway then blocked his 3W back into the trees

From what the tracker says on the masters website it was a tee shot into the woods on the left, then three wood shank in the woods up ahead 100 yards then on the green about 48 feet away from pin, two putt, bogey.
