Does anyone else think Ben Crenshaw is enjoying himself? If I was a former champ and couldn't break 90, I don't know what I'd do. He hit his tee shot on 2 191 yards! He doubled the first hole already! What's the record for worst 2-day total at the Masters? I almost feel bad for him. Wait, I'm in here typing about it :-\

Remember when Billy Casper shot like 107?

He got some lucky bounces yesterday. Anything can happen but he seems to be in the zone.

Yeah, after watching it at home last night, he def got some good rolls which he made the most of.  I have no idea about today, but if the pendulum swings the other way, and things start to become a lot more difficult for him, it'll be interesting to see how he holds up if one or more players make a charge.

Only 214 to the pin.  If he has a line, he still has a good shot to get a birdie.

Ditto for me, FREAK.  I am letting my imagination do the work (or go wild).

Nice 94 yard shot by Spieth onto 15, about 10 feet for birdie.

Why? Bad shot? Which brings up the rules question of if you can replace a damaged or broken club if it was intentionally broken by the player in question during a round of play.

Runaway's can turn into train wrecks really fast on that course.

    • It's going to be very difficult for the 2026 Masters to match the 2025 edition for storyline. I honestly don't know that anyone else in the field could match the story of Rory finally winning after so many years and the blow ups over the years, not to mention the career slam being completed. No one this year that I can think of is remotely close to that kind of story. Combine that with the attempts at blow ups last year (Double on the 1st, 13, 18 on first try) and the stunningly good shots that he hit in the final round (7, 15, 17, 18 on second try).  Full gamut: https://www.masters.com/en_US/watch/2025-04-13/17445961638226475/every_single_shot_from_rory_mcilroys_final_round.html
    • Let's kick off the 2026 Masters talk with… a look back at 2025 (coming soon):
    • Wow, so Europe named Luke for a third term. Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Luke Donald named 2027 European Ryder Cup Captain Who will the U.S. name? I hope not Tiger Woods.
    • I am playing Arrowhead for the first time and I am pumped.  What are some things that I need to make sure and appreciate, for those that have played it before and love it? It has been a pretty dry winter so I am expecting rough to be forgiving which is nice and it will be playing much easier than it does in the late summer (I am assuming based on other colorado courses).  What should I make sure to not miss?
