And Lydia Ko... 29 straight rounds under par followed by 3 straight rounds over par.  What the hell!  She's starting a new streak.

Hopefully it's just that she wasn't comfortable on that particular course. I'd hate to see her go in a slump, but it happens to everyone sooner or later.

And, she's gluten free.

So what?

So what?

Maybe she had Celiac disease? And is playing better now that she is healthy?

She stated that she had stomach issues that led to poor performance on the course and since going gluten free ... from her video

The pure rage in her eyes is pretty normal.

I always get the feeling that Lewis is a sore loser and always seems to be angry. She is by far my least favorite player on the tour.

I like Stacy Lewis. She's not a sore loser, she's ultra competitive. She never criticizes her opponents, she is hard on herself. I fail to see why having a focused demeanor is a bad thing.

Okay. Stomach issues-fine. I just do not get the number of people who are going gluten free just for the heck of it-People who have no issues eating a piece of bread or whatever and then going gluten free because it is trendy or whatever. @Ferguson I asked only about the gluten free stuff-Not her swing, exercise etc. Your answer did not even address the question. @Mr. Desmond responded better to a question posed to you than you did.

Agreed. Perhaps if she was not so hard on herself, she might have let go of those putts.

Wish her well.

Stacy really is a class act, and playing great golf right now, with Lydia Ko looking a little tired we could see a new #1 soon.

I agree with these.  I was a little amazed at the contrast between her obvious bitter disappointment, when they showed her in the clubhouse with her head down - looked like there may have been tears - and her composure in the interview just minutes later.  And while the interviewer tried to make a bigger thing out of the bad break on landing in the divot, she made no excuses.

And I personally liked the contrast between their demeanors.  It is nice when the players do not look like robots and the dichotomy of the super intense player and the more easy going player is a long standing one.  Arnie/Jack, Phil/Tiger, Snead/Hogan.  The contrast has always made for great drama and interest.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Totally agree. Hate robots. I want to see emotion.

It's one of the reasons I've never cared - in fact, the opposite - about Tiger's reactions, both positive and negative.

It was good to see Morgan Pressel playing well again. And, she's gluten free.

Wait, are glutens good or bad for golf? Tiger withdrew when his glutens weren't present, and now Morgan Pressel deliberately omits them?

What is there to dislike Stacey Lewis?   Honestly, I think most Lewis haters are the ones expecting a "nicer" behavior from a female player.   E.g., never slam the club in anger, don't show overly disappointing gesture after a missed shot, ....    They'd prefer everyone to behave like Asian born players, accepting bad shots with a smile or giving no reaction.   No fist pumps.   No throwing clubs.  I think that's kind of boring.   I'd like to see some personality come out instead of the LPGA commentators making things ups (oh, so and so's hobby is shopping, and cooking - give me a break!).

OTOH, the young Korean players coming in now are showing some life.  I saw Hana Jang's fist pumps after each good shot and that was refreshing, coming from a Korean born player.

If I were to pick a specific instance, her getting her panties in a bunch about that 12 year old playing the US Open, rather than being happy for her, she just brought the whole celebration down. Based off her interviews and body language, I just know she'd be too intense for me to get along with.

It makes you wonder if she's even truly happy playing golf.
