Gary Player calls Chambers Bay one of the worst golf courses he's ever seen. Ouch.

Lucky for us, Gary Player has never been the type of person to engage in hyperbole.

I'm looking at the scorecard. They say with my driving distance I should play the white tees 6000 yds. That's rated 76.2/137 for women. I think I'd shoot about a 140.

He's in no condition to run - might have a heart attack even at his age. He looks as soft the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Looks like Lefty and Bones are having their typical back and forth about yardages and clubs........how I'd love to hear Phil throw out something like "I don't know what the **** to hit, Bones.....this goat farm they call a golf course -----gimmie a ****ing shovel".

My mom on Chambers Bay: "Why does it look so shitty, and ugly there? Not like the Masters, that was gorgeous". So that settles it.

I have to admit, it does look ugly.

I think it looks amazing!

Gary Player calls Chambers Bay one of the worst golf courses he's ever seen. Ouch.

He also said that the watering for a course of 7800yds is so much! 1) Has he looked at the TV yet? Does it look wet and green? 2) The PNW rains quite a bit during the winter, so its not being watered then.  and 3) its fescue grass which doesn't need a lot of water to begin with.  So, really, what course is he looking at?

He may be leading, but HE'S WEARING THE SAME DAMN CLOTHES AS YESTERDAY.

And since he's not yet in the Top 5, he probably couldn't afford two shirts of the same color.

Someday, though, for his sake, I hope he hits it big. ;)

I'm with @phillyk ... I love the look of this place and now want to play there someday!
