Dunno what I would do or what the you're supposed to. I usually give animals space and slowly put distance between me and them. If you're a walker, and w/no food, what do you do?

Wow, that's nuts. Wasn't able to listen, just watched but I suspect the reason it followed is because many others had fed it. Not sure that's the right answer. I'd just let it be and he'd lose interest eventually. Kinda cool.

Its really common to see them on the course in Az ... so much so that, that they blend in for me now ... hopefully people do not take to feeding them; otherwise we will see more of the above video.

I used to play a course all the time (Hesperia Golf Course) that had a coyote who would just lay out, 25 yards behind the first green in the middle of the day.  He never bothered me and I never fed him.  I WAS always polite and said Hi! to him (or her - never got close enough to tell)

When you are in Orlando you need to watch out for the crows. I went to do my pitch shot, about 30 yards from my cart. I look back and the damn crow stole my pack of peanuts. Before I could chase him away the crow flew away.

I saw a one at my home course and I approached it for a closer look.   The guy didn't move.  It seems he was just resting.  I moved on to play the next hole.   If it follows me, I will grab a club and scare it off.   My wife usually plays with me and she will freak out if I don't scare it away.

At my old home course, for several months, as soon as we get to a specific hole, a Chihuahua runs out of one of the houses through its fence and start chasing us, barking the whole time.   I had to get in front of the dog and scare it away while my wife hit her next shot.   It was funny and annoying at the same time.

Having grown up out in the deserts of AZ I can tell you that the coyote is one smart animal.  He seems to be able to adapt to conditions no matter where he is at.   Many  the new folks moving to AZ think it is a good idea (or maybe just fun) to feed them.   But make no mistake they are not a dog, nor are they tame and in fact will have your pets for lunch given a chance.

QFT. People need to stop doing this kind of thing. They will probably eventually have to put it down now once it gets aggressive enough. I am one phone call away... :-D

I was walking up to the tee box on #13 yesterday and there were 4 adult geese and 10 babies walking on the edge of it.  I walked by the group to get to the ball washer and one of the adults gave me some major stinkeye and it started hissing at me.  Since these things are nuisance shit machines I was thinking 'bring it douchebag, I'll smoke you with a 3 iron!'.  I probably would have tried to chase it away if there weren't other players around actually but with my luck it would have turned into something embarrassing like this:
