Practice outside ... Worked on Evolvr feedback of keeping my feet more grounded and not getting on my toes early ... more balance. Honestly I would not believe I was lifting my left heel had it not been for the video ... a new feel for me now.

Range - Warmed up by hitting 10 balls with my sand wedge.

After my warm up I would slowly hit 5 balls focusing on my priority piece, Then I would take a full swing still focusing on my priority piece.  I hit about 40-50 shots.

Indoor swings.  Worked on keeping arms connected to torso.  Head still, no tension in hands.  When I keep the head still and hip slide/turn properly, there is good club head speed and the club brushes the carpet.

Got some good putting practice in today, mostly 10' and 30' putts. 10' uphill, downhill, and side; 30' primarily flatish.

Slow mirror swings. Preparing for my range session.

I think I cracked a bone in my little toe from stubbing it last night. Didn't seem to affect my swing. It was just painful at the end of the follow through if I swung too hard. Maybe this is good to limit my swing? Seemed to work because all my shots on the range felt "very controlled". . .

I did the closed face drill outside with a club, focusing on keeping my right elbow bent longer and really turning through the ball, also allowing my trail knee to bend more in the backswing.

10 minutes mirror work. Started with slow backswing to A4. Then A1 to A5 with weight moving forward from 4 to 5. Emphasis on keeping my right elbow in the proper position and making shaft angle more flat at A5. Next A1 to A6 slow with pivot to A9.

5-10 mins of pushing my office chair around.  I focused on pushing my weight as far forward as possible.

Wanted to get to the course for some practice there after work today, but I was too tired. Did some pitching into a box at home while making dinner. Tomorrow starts the club championship; here's hoping I'm ready.

Putting on the 36" board.  Really concentrated on keeping my head and lower body still.  Rock the shoulders and keep the back of my left hand and my right palm facing the target line.  Allow the putter head to be a pendulum and not try to steer it.  Had a good number, about 60% go the full length of the ruler.  Most of the rest went 2/3, only a few were so off line that they fell of the ruler at 12".  I use a heavy face balanced mallet style putter.  Straight back and straight through.

Indoor swings.  Slow tempo, parallel to parallel, toe up to toe up.  Worked on keeping my arms soft.  No tension, let the club release fully.  Hip slide and turn, get my weight forward and head still.  Brush the carpet.  Pretty successful, almost all swings felt good and brushed the carpet.  Any tension and the club head does not brush the carpet and would be a thin hit.

    • An you still took several minutes to write several posts and talk to sound engineers. I appreciate that you did!  So they basically tell you is possible but you need to be very restrictive. The same thing I found on my research.  Temperature: is not going to change much between swing A and swing B. Distance of max club head: even the PRGR take the fastest speed recorded, not the speed at the ball. But this could be diminish by swinging several times each swing and average the results.  Angles: also PRGR returns less speed swinging on a certain degree.  Clubface orientation: it is also an issue with launch monitors that are not reading the center of the mass of the club. You can have a lot more club speed if your face rotation is higher and your lunch monitor is reading the toe of the club. "Other stuff in the room": are the same from swing A to B, or you can just swing naked! haha  This is the main idea, I have a PRGR and Skytrak. There are plenty of people, more here in Argentina, that can't afford a launch monitor. Also wanted to share the idea and let it be challenged by others. I don't mind been wrong, is part of experimenting.  I did and all the swings were close to 85 dbs, me swinging at 90 m/h. But I don't mind doing a proper test later in the afternoon writing down the results. I need to find and app that also have frequencies in order to test both.
    • Always kinda looked that way. They're pretty standard length… he's a tall dude though.
    • Now it's not too early.  Strong US start - 5 pairings out now. Is it just me?  or does Tony Finau's clubs look just too short for him?
