5 to 10 minutes mapping my swing. I did spend a bit of time with my grip. In this hot weather, I am having a bit of trouble because I need to wear gloves do the excess sweat. I usually don't wear gloves.

Range - 1st ten shots were hit with my feet together using my sand wedge.

I practiced getting my weight forward.  I used my 3wood.  I would hit 5 shots with a slower swing focusing on getting my weight forward.  Then I would hit a normal shot.

Practiced rolling putts over a dime from a foot away with different length back strokes for 20 minutes. Trying to insure my tempo stays the same and not hitting the ball for more power! Putting has been holding me back from better scores after solid ball striking, particularly for approach shots!

Indoors tonight ... forget who's swing thread I saw this on, but it was suggested to put your butt next to a wall and turn until your hands hit the wall ... at as easy as it sounds ... Also did some outdoor work trying to mimic the above.

While making dinner and tomorrow's lunch, I did the "driver practice at home" (p.82 LSW) drill with the medicine ball. It feels more like exercise than practice.

Range time working on the 8i and 6h. Focusing on clearing the hips. The swing has started to feel too armsy again.

Spent an entire bucket working on my "less stress" movement. I'm trying to move even slowerer and syrupier, and it seems to be giving me the "push"es I want. The ball is surprisingly going almost the same distance as my pulls only they are going the other way. I think it's because my hips are clearing better and my shoulders and arms follow better?

So here I am in my office, practicing my takeaway and transition using a coat hanger. Back gently to A3, let my left knee kick in a little bit, right leg straighten, get to A4, kick left knee out towards target as I open my hips as I transition. Maybe I should have closed the blinds before doing this. Not a bad way to spend a short break just the same. Should have actual range time tomorrow and Saturday before facing a match on Sunday.

    • Is it? I bought the Stack radar to replace my PRGR based on what Stack told me! When I am swinging for speed, the PRGR would miss 50%-80% of my backswings due to a higher speed. The stack seldom misses those- at least for me.
    • As an analyst by nature, I would like to compare the scores under both systems. It is something we can easily do if we have the data. I actually thought the new system was less fair to those whose game was on the decline - like mine! Old: Best 10 of last 20 scores with the .96 multiplier. Course handicap excluded course rating and overall par. New: Best 8/20. Course handicap includes course rating -par. My understanding is Stableford caps scores at Net double bogey like stroke play. If so, handicap should be slower to rise because you are only using 8 versus 10 scores. If I am missing something, I am curious enough to  want to understand what that may be. My home course tees that I play are 72.1/154 now. My best score out here is 82. When my game started to decline, my handicap didn’t budge for 13 rounds because of good scores in my first 8! I know I am an anomaly but my handicap has increased almost 80% in the past few years (with only a few rounds this year). For a few months I knew I was losing every bet because my game was nowhere near my handicap. I suspect I have steamrolled a few nuances but that shouldn’t matter much. When I have modeled this with someone playing the same tees and course, one good round, or return to form, will immediately reduce the handicap by some amount.
