7. GAME Golf username in your postbit.
We'll turn this into links soon enough, for one-click access to your GAME Golf Profile!

I like this feature.

I'd love to eventually see a similar link to each person's "My Swing" thread, if you're taking enhancement requests.  Sometimes I'll read a comment by one of us about what we're working on, and I'd love to click a quick link to see their latest work on their swing.

As it stands now, I'll search the forum, but the key words "my swing [name]" is fairly broad and you can get other entries that are not what your are looking for. The old site had much more accuracy finding the right thread than the new site's search results, but I understand the index was still building.

Alternatively, we could each agree to put in our signatures. But seems like it would be handy to navigate quickly for easy viewing.

Like the new rep feature -- easy to give reps, although I will miss the short, sometimes humorous comments.

What happened to your "reviews". I like reading your staff reviews on equipment. Is this still here somewhere, or are you planning on bringing this back?

It's still here and we'll feature it on the homepage in the near feature, just have more important stuff to work out before then.

Also guys, clicking return twice starts a new paragraph, shift-return gets you single line spacing.

So hitting return twice gets you "big" spacing like this...

Here is the same message with one return, let's just keep it to one return.Screen Shot 2015-10-03 at 11.19.31 AM.png

This was slick! I replied to two different poster in the Rules folder and the software automatically combined them making my reply even better. Nice work.

Does IPS have a plan for a stand alone app?

I don't think so. There was talk for awhile but I think it died down.

Virtually no need for a stand-alone app. It would just display a web view… which your browser does now.

Same thing happens in the messaging/email area. If you send a message to someone and then realize you forgot something, just write the next message and they get merged.

I now use the feature quite frequently. I'll post, because I don't want to wait to get something out, and then keep working and will post more.

I currently have the limit set at 18 minutes. And I typed this as a separate message, which will be auto-merged. :-)

Any chance of getting a new content button at the bottom of the mobile page? That would be sweet.

Probably not, unfortunately.

You know you can tap the top of the screen - or the little "up arrow" chevron - to go to the top of the page, right?

Or just make your preferred stream a bookmark and you can quickly access it that way.

See here for more on streams:

I constantly have error messages saying I can't upload images over the 4.88 mb limit but I am no where near that limit. I just tried to upload the image that is linked in this post and it gave me the error again.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
