81 this morning. One horrible triple due to a tee shot OB. I am still pleased for the most part with my ball striking

Shot 43 (+7) today!

FIR: 4

GIR: 4

Putts: 18 (only one 3 putt)

Birdies: 0

Pars: 4!!!

Bogeys: 3

Doubles: 2

Penalties: I lost my ball in the rough on the first par 5, which resulted in a double bogey

Overall, I hit the ball really well today, and my putting was pretty good as well! Shots from 135 and in are the biggest source of doubt and difficulty for me.

Finally put together a front & back after struggling this year with letting good rounds slip away.

Front - 37,  Back - 36, one over for the day @ WingHeaven.

Hopefully, now that the course conditions are pristine, scores will be more respectable.

A 90.

48 on the front. 42 on the back.

I swear I"m THIS CLOSE to playing good golf! :~(

I've started using keepmygolfscore.com and am learning a lot about my game after posting just two rounds.

If I can get up and down I could score well.

Right now though, when I miss a green, I bogey.  Par 3s are the worst. - which was surprising to me.

I love this game!

I went from shooting a 73 (33/40) on a Monday, to shooting a 88 (44/44) on the Following Friday. I walked and played with better players for the 73 and rode and played with high handicap players on the Friday. This really shows that if your head isn't in it, your score will show it! I can never figure out my yardages when I ride instead of walk.

Pretty frustrated. Shot another 85 today. >:( Played the front +9. Took me 4 attempts to punch out on a par 5 and 3 putted on a missed green the next hole. Missed the first 4 greens coming in and two putted each before the golf gods smiled on me and i parred out. Back to the chipping green...

It is tough when you can't hit greens.  Only two this morning.  Shot 40.

39-49 for an 88 adjusted to an 87 with ESC. Took an 8 on a par 4 and a 6 on a par 3 on the back. I blew tee shots on both of these holes and I have really become a believer in the importance if the long game. When I am playing decent the tee shot sets the tone and builds confidence.

Here was my best played hole of my round today. I had a 200 yard drive slightly past the green to set me up with a nice chip and putt for par. mind you this whole round was played during a rainstorm with at least 25 mile per hour winds...

Here was my best played hole of my round today. I had a 200 yard drive into the wind that shot straight at the pin, and landed slightly past the green to set me up with a nice chip and putt for par. mind you this whole round was played during a rainstorm with at least 25 mile per hour winds, and my short game was suffering at the time...nothing major but a nice milestone nonetheless. Sorry for the double post I'm new and browsing from a mobile phone...if anyone could tell me how to delete posts that would be appreciated.

Shot a 70 today from a 70.3 CR, par 72.  Decided to play a tee forward because my last 2 weeks have been rough.  But on the range before the round, I had the "ureka!" moment and started hitting most of my shots great.  Had 15GIR, 9FIR, and 32 putts.  I didn't leave myself a lot of great birdie putts but I should've made more.  I had the lines for most my putts, but my distance was off for a lot of them.  Strength was the par 5s, birdied all 4 of them, and my driver (FINALLY!), I had 6/7 good drivers today. The bad one was a weak hook and didn't end up badly, but it still wasn't a great shot.  The rest were dead straight and long.  Felt really good to have it back on my drives.  Weaknesses were par 3s, had a couple bogeys from missing the green and 3 putting once.  My short irons weren't as accurate as I would've liked, either.  Overall, not bad and not great.  But definitely an improvement from recent rounds.

88 rough day. Played the par 5's 1 under and the par 3's 4 over. Lots of bogeys blah.

82 today. If I can become better getting out of the sand I can consistently hit mid 70s. I got stuck in the sand three times. Cost me 5 extra strokes. Plus it was a windy day here in the Dallas area.

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
