Yikes! There's so much wrong about that video. The first thing I noticed from the flyover is there is zero chance that stream is 75 yards ahead of the moguls down the right. The creek on the right side over the moguls looks like it might be only 265 or 270. If that's reachable with driver, then left side probably does actually make sense, but it's got nothing to do with the angle into the green. I will say I generally see a fade in my mind and if there are trees encroaching on the left, then I'll do everything I can to tee it up as far to the right as possible because I hate that cooped up feeling otherwise, but those trees don't look remotely close to in the way on the video. Maybe there's some kind of camera trickery going on and they're actually more in the way than it seems. 🤷♂️ The flag is back right. If it was front right (and the fairway was 70 yards wide), then the left side might be beneficial if it's firm, but you'll hit it closer a lot more often from the right fairway than you will the left rough, so aim it at the middle and go with it (assuming the water actually is 320 anyway). I thought the whole video was basically a 4 minute debunked cliche from the 80s. -

Good choice. I have been through the same as well. I think the biggest thing that helped me was just remembering that it is just a game. We do not do this as a profession, so going through these tough spells is just golf for an amateur. I figured out where I needed the most help, hammered those areas and it got better. Just remember how good you used to play. You know you can do it. You have just gotten in a funk. You have the ability to work yourself out of it. -

Hmmm... Seems like this should be a pretty easy exercise. There are about a million online charts that show golf ball compression numbers for pretty much every golf ball. My suggestion is grab one of those charts, cross out all the golf balls that are not between 75 and 80 compression and then cross out all the ones that are over 20 bucks. ... TADA! Let us know which ball you settle on. I haven't done the above exercise but I'm willing to bet there aren't a large number of balls that will be left on the list. 👍😁👍 -

I lifetime ago, early to mid-90's I actually took a club fitting and building course. I remember learning a lot and we all got to build up at least one set of clubs. I actually built three sets. I fit a set for myself, a friend and my dad and built up sets from components. It was a good time and interesting as well. Anyway, we used all Dynacraft and Maltby components. It was a really good value back in those days. I played those clubs for several years. I still have the Dynacraft putter around here someplace. The funny part was one of the first things we were taught in class was to ignore the Maltby Playability Factors. 👍😁👍
