Honestly I haven't designed something in a while, but I have seen some of the examples on their website and I'm pretty excited!

Thanks for the opportunity @scottyarcy!

I'm having two designs made. One is pretty standard…

5bguzlx7te5oxzds.jpg.c58a5513d5c6c437444

The other is more complex:

569fa593a6c36_ScreenShot2016-01-20at10.1

The complex one will test the ability to design a logo that's far, far too thin. @scottyarcy has already pointed out that he will need to thicken many parts, as I suspected he would. It'll be interesting to see how well the second image turns out given the difficulty it naturally presents.

The first, though, should look nice and is relatively straight-forward.

Here are a few ideas I've made in the past.

The "Babe" is very busy, I can tone her back a bit.

I'll contact @scottyarcy and inquire on thoughts?

Photos of items made, they are both wall hanging items made out of steel. The height was 18" on the guy and the gal is 22" tall.

Opp's just realized the mini skirt was too short, had to replace it. Wrong pic, but good for laughs.......

Hey guys,

Just made the PSU paw logo for Iacas. Photo attached

So whats going to happen with the NCB logo, is that I will have to make all the curved lines about the same thickness. There are 2 limitations, one is the 3D printer resolution but the other is that the smallest pen (that I know of) is an ultrafine sharpie. This also limits the size of detail

Hi, yep, pretty much expected that.

@Club Rat, you need to cut down on the complexity roughly tenfold! Man those are overly complex. Think about it… you've gotta fit a Sharpie in there and it has to fit on a golf ball.

yeah, I can probably only do the outline for @clubrat

maybe some internal detail if there is enough room

plus, think about it, how much time do you really want to spend drawing all kinds of small details? :)

Here's a few other ideas. The golfer will make my Honey happy.

I've got a logo design for my St Lou Blues, but can not find the SD Card I saved it on....... Hate when that happens........

Just submitted a new drawing.

Going to go with four diamonds, I'll probably use one, two or four colors just for kicks.

The only thing I could come up with so far is the star pattern from the dragon balls.

This way I'll at least feel clever about scattering balls all over the woods :-D

I'll think on it some more, but I'm planning to submit something final by the end of the day.

Something similar is why I was hesitant to take this on.  I currently use just dots on my balls - no words or letters or other symbols.  I couldn't figure out what I'd want, or how I'd judge it once I had it.  I like your DBZ Star Pattern idea.

Yes! Needs to be the four star ball, that's the lucky one.

Four star ball it is. That was Gohan's and he was my favorite DBZ character.

Design idea submitted last night and @scottyarcy has already responded with a drawing which I approved. Quick response and excellent customer service.

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.

    • I'm currently recuperating from surgery, so no golf, but have been thinking about this quite a bit. This and the don't overbend the right arm thing. It's hard for me to even pose the position, so I'm not 100% sure, but I feel like it's impossible to have the right humerus along the shirt seam and not overbend your right arm, unless your hands are down near your hips. If the left arm is up at or above the shoulder plane and your right arm is bent less than 90 degrees, then your right humerus has to raise or your hands will get pulled apart. Your left hand can't reach your right hand unless either the right upper arm is up or the right arm is overbent. Is that right? If it is, then focusing on not overbending the right arm would force you to raise the humerus. And actually thinking further on it, if you do overbend your right arm, then you're basically forcing your upper arm down or forcing your left arm to bend. Since (for me at least) bending the left arm too much is not something I think I need to worry about, it means that the bend in the trail arm is really the driving force behind what happens to the right humerus.
    • I managed to knock off a 3, a 13, and a 15 a couple of weeks ago. The 3 was a 185 yard par 3 with a 6 iron to 12 feet. 13 was a 350 yard par 4, which was a 2 iron and a 9 iron to about a foot. 15 was a 560 yard par 5 with a driver in a bunker, 4 iron into the semi, gap wedge to 8 feet and a putt.
