Looks great!   I think it's going to be a success.   Lucasfilm and Disney take a lot of care to get these movies right.

Oops, wrong sci-fi movie.

Yeah, it looks great.  Looks a littler bit darker than typical star wars movies.  More in line with the Empire Strikes Back (which is my favorite of the trilogy).

I could have sworn I saw a trailer in front of the latest Star Trek movie.

December, eh?  Are they planning to release a new Star Wars every year around the holidays, like some sort of Star Wars special holiday? ;-)

They plan to release a movie every year.   I think EP 7 was done last Christmas so that there would be nothing to stop it for a long time at the box office.  Ep 8 was supposed to be May of 2017, but they pushed it back to Christmas 2017, and Rogue One is coming this Dec.  I think that they are trying not to have movies release too quickly on top of each other.  Every December is a year, but originally it was going to be 6 months.

Personally I don't want to see the Episode movies too close together.   I like the three year wait, makes it more of an event.

Be very, very careful about mentioning the Star Wars holiday special.  If he notices, George Lucas will personally hunt you down with the only real world lightsaber in existence.

I don't know why, I just am not excited about this movie.I doubt I'll go to the theater to watch it, though I'm sure I'll watch it later.

I wasn't either, but then I learned the director of Monsters and Godzilla, which I really loved, though not popular, is directing this.

I can't get excited about the spin offs/side story Star Wars movies. Neither this nor the Han Solo movies really have caught my interest strangely enough.

Obviously the big hurdle they have is that we already know what's going to happen but done right is does give the opportunity to tell interesting stories and expand the universe.

I like the darker overtones, but it's Disney, so you know it's going to get lightened up significantly for BO purposes but still looks to be quite the visual feast, love the swamp forest verdant backdrops and the  cast.

This looks a lot better than the Force Awakens.  It has more of a firm noir feel to it.  Sort of like Empire Strikes Back, which by the way is my favorite of the trilogy.

I can't wait to see it.

New international trailer. This is a gorgeously shot movie. Some scenes look like a super duper UHD vacation commercial, except with like people getting shot and killed.:unsure:

Getting good reviews mostly, but some very mixed ones from reviewers I follow. Something about bad CGI. At this time last year, movie fans were going batsh** over The Force Awakens.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
