Well, yeah, it is the top guys in the Fedex cup haha.

I am very interested to watch this weekend having played the course last summer. Its always better when you know what the holes look like in person.

I missed a few years of following closely -- when did Bethpage replace Liberty National for the opening leg of the playoffs?

It hasn't. The Barclays rotates every year between Ridgewood, Liberty National, Plainfield, and Bethpage. It's Bethpage's turn in the order.

Bookmarked the ticket purchase page and keep going to it with the intention to buy and life just keeps happening to me. And the weather is nice now too. Next year I guess. And the courses won't be open to the public for play until September if you're wondering when you can play. See you... in September. $65 for a practice day. Pfffft.

I wonder if they use one of the courses as the driving range. From what I can recall, there is no way tour pros are hitting on the range normally used for the public. That thing was barely long enough for my 5 iron when I was there.

The regular range is cr@p. IIRC, they use the Yellow course's first hole.

I'd **really** love to go to this but I'm not sure I'd be able to.

$65 or a practice round?  How much is a weekend ticket?

he must have hit the fairway. I got caught in the right rough and was 185 out....which took 2 shots to get on the green, because you cant hit much more than an 8 iron out of that stuff.

But yeah, if you're not sitting up like I was, that's some of the thickest rough on the golf course.

I've watched the pros play a few other courses I've played in real life, but it's always a bit wild to see with the grandstands set up.
