Has anyone tried his teaching , aka swing surgeon , vertical swing ?  I 've always been plagued by way too much motion and movement , too many moving  parts . Seems like an alternative to  a full turn , especially for someone with a weak back .

Two things:

1. Please stop with all caps in titles for topics.

2. If you struggle with too much movement, work on things to move less. Find your priority and attack that. Don't buy into a "swing." Everyone is unique and has only a few things in common.

Over-react much @iceman777? Please use Title Case for topic titles. We've had to change several of your topic titles.

Wowee.

Don Trahan has an interesting marketing speil, but I stepped away from DT after trying his swing concept for a few weeks. Basically, the partial turn left me with no tension at the top, and I had direction problems on shots.

Also, after the online freebies I got bombed with 3-5 e-mails a week asking me to buy full membership in the DT kingdom. I finally blocked the address.

@iacas warned me away from guys like Trahan during my first year on TST.

His site was always an interesting read.   I'm not sure I related to a catcher's mitt and up the tree but it was entertaining.

I've been using the PPGS of Don's for about 4 years now. I'm 71 y/o and tend to get a sore back. I find that  with his limited turn golf swing, I'm able to play 18 pain-free. Disadvantages are that it is an arm swing only, and there is a tendency to get too steep. But I feel it is a worthwhile trade-off.
