It's amazing that the best ball striker of all time is basically a top 5 putter of all time.  One has nothing to do with the other. Two totally different things. It would be like Stephan Curry being a top 3 dunker of all time, along with 3 pointer

Longer he goes, the more the flaws in his game will show themselves.  He's right at the over-under line now.

He's T7.

Tiger is not the greatest ball striker of all time...not by a decent margin IMO. He is the best clutch putter of all time.

On another note, his iron play is looking as good as anyone in the field right now.

Now he is, when I posted it he was T9 and if he didn't make that par putt he'd have been below.

Or like Michael Jordan ranking in the top five in NBA history for both points and steals.

Tiger dominated because of his long game, not his putting. You don't become the GOAT (or 2nd) by clutch putting.

Now T-8 with a birdie on 15. Going the right direction again.

That's a nice 64 for JB with a bogey and an eagle.

While no one has been paying attention, Hideki Matsuyama has been playing better than any golfer in the world this fall.

Hasn't posted to TGC's scoreboard yet. WTH happened there?

Tiger Tracker shows it was a double from the middle of the fairway. :-(

I can relate to that.

There goes a tee shot in the water. His tee game has been a bit off.

I must have messed up setting my DVR recording so I'll have to watch the beginning of the round later, but at least he hasn't imploded. Progress!

Not saying he became the GOAT (or 2nd) by his putting. Just saying he's not the greatest ball striker of all time.

Hogan, T. Watson, hell maybe even Trevino were better ball strikers. Better golfers, no not by a mile. But better ball strikers than Tiger.

He's on a short list.
