Am I the only old person who still loves to watch "The Year Without a Santa Claus, Santa Claus is Coming to town and Rudolph?

Snow Mizer and Heat Mizer along with the Winter Warlock and Abomibal Snowman are awesome.

Nope.  I saw Rudolph the first year it was on and every year since.

I will watch A Christmas Story and maybe It's a Wonderful Life. But the others we saw so much when my son was little, I can recite them from memory. I like them, but don't want to see them on commercial TV.

We do have Rudolf ornaments on the tree though!

I don't think I've ever ever seen It's a Wonderful Life or A Christmas Story straight through. In fact, the former I don't think I've seen more than a few minutes (the latter I've sen about three times, just not all at once).

My family watches Elf every year. My daughter was afraid of the Grinch when she was a kid. Even the Boris Karloff one. I didn't even ever really get into the weird stop motion stuff with the Abominable Snowman and the elf dentist when I was a kid, or Charlie Brown, etc. So we don't go out of our way to watch or record those, either.

we typically end up watching Elf and Family Man (Nicolas Cage) at some point over the holidays.  We just watched home alone with our girls this year and they enjoyed that, I was a kid when that came out so that brought back some memories.

      Played Musgrove Mill GC today. 72.3/155. First round in 4 weeks and shot 44-39. 2 triple bogies on the front and horseshoed 4 putts today. Overall, 10 fairways, 8 GIR and 31 putts.  Set a goal today to par the 3 toughest holes (4, 18 and 9) and birdie 10 or 12 (which I have never birdied). Parred 4, 9 and birdied 10. Crushed my drive on 18 and had 139 left, but in casual water. Dropped back a little ways and took an extra club. Hit my 8-iron well but it came up short. Bunker shot from wet sand left me an 18’ for my goal. Read the break well but perhaps an inch too much break, and a touch heavy on the speed. Ball circled the hole 270* and tapped in for a bogey. Handicap dropped 0.1.
