Seems like an attempt to mimic Ping's turbulators but with enough difference to not infringe on Ping's design.

As long as they don't call them "nubulators" I think they'll be OK.

Well, it is obviously to reduce drag which is what the turbulators do. Just look different. Wonder if someone will try to dimple the crown like golf balls eventually.

At $400 a pop they'll need the services of their new pitchman, "The greatest driver in the history of the PGA," (as they phrase it), especially as their website reveals no scheduled demo days, anywhere, any time soon. But hey, if it's endorsed by Long John Daly....

It's obviously not going to happen, but just as a fun thought experiment ... could you imagine what would happen to this company if Daly were to win a PGA TOUR event with this driver?

Actually, although it would help if JD won a tournament, I think him just cracking some 300 yard, playable drives would be a good selling point. Playing on the weekend would even be good enough. JD still has quite a few fans out there.

What if JD beat TW in a 6 hole play off to win the Masters? Now I am delusional. Probably should drink a few beers to hide that fact......:beer:
