He at least won a few more times on tour. Willett seems like he completely lost his game.

Word on the Euro tour says he has been battling an injury. No one feels sorry for him thanks to his brother.

Agreed with this - in fairness to Willett, he had been in good form at the start of 2016 and late 2015 with a few top tens and 3rd places in WGCs. Everything just fell off a cliff after the Masters.

We're talking Player of the Year, right? If Hideki doesn't win the PGA, then he has virtually no shot at winning POY over Jordan Spieth. Jordan Spieth won 3 tourneys this year, one of them a major championship. So far Hideki's only won 2 tourneys, correct? Heck, if Koepka wins the PGA next week, he takes over for POY. If DJ wins the PGA, he likely does. Majors carry a ton of merit.

Three wins, including the HSBC Champions during the wrap-around season.

I read somewhere that he's had some back issues.. But whatever the reason he has totally lost it after the Masters. And he's brother definitely isn't helping his cause with all the weird tweets :-D Maybe he started enjoying it a bit too much after the Masters, which of course isn't wrong, but is showing on the golf game

There's a big difference between the expectations of a solid tour pro and that of a major champion. Willett wasn't prepared for that jump; his green jacket more or less fell into his lap.

I think it's very close between the two; Spieth's major victory puts him ahead, but not by much.

Of course, Jordan can finish his career Grand Slam next week and wrap up all of the superlatives; or, Hideki could win and gain the upper hand. DJ or Rickie could enter the discussion with a victory, too.

By your definition, Hideki is just a "solid tour pro." He had a impressive round yesterday but was lack luster in the major. Spieth goes wire to wire at "The Open," who does that? Oh yeah, player of the year...

I've missed his brothers tweets. Seems like he won the masters and lost his game after having his baby. Seems like he is distracted at home.

I think Curtis has as many PGA tour wins as Fowler.

Erm, not really. He made -5 on the last day without a blip on his card. Had Spieth shot level, he'd still have won it. Additionally, he had one of the better rounds on the first day and shot better than Jordan on both Friday and Saturday. By all means knock his form since, but he earned that win as much as Spieth lost it - he was red hot over that round.

True! You can finish dead last at the Bridgestone and walk away with a check for 25K in your pocket!

I forget who said it in the post round interview, but they all ran into Hideki's buzzsaw on Sunday. This, despite his warmup being horrendous! Dottie Pepper referred to it as did Hideki in his post round interview. I guess he was spraying shots all over the place! But, once he got on the course, something else kicked in! I really can't stand his swing, but he hits the shots and gets the job done!

I kinda like the pause...then wham! Unfortunately ....I'm just not a big fan of him in general. Too much of a robot. He's like the Ivan Lendl of golf. My opinion of course, but I don't care for his lack of speaking English when most other much less successful Asian golfers do or at least do their best. He spends a lot of time in the US and he's been given quite a good opportunity on the tour. I followed him for a few holes at the Arnold Palmer...complete bore.
