Other than Volvik and Vice anyone else make matte golf balls?

New Wilson Duo will be matte.

For me, the matte seems to "day-glow" a bit more.

I saw a yellow Titleist NXT Tour S today that was matte finish.

I agree those vivid matt balls on the green look bigger then a normal call, like they glow!

Dont like the Matte finish. Just looks like they havent finished them or missed the gloss coating

I don't think I've ever seen a red ball before. Maybe I'll try it when all the leaves are gone.

Those  red Volviks actually  hurt my eyes in bright sunlight.

Even with sunglasses it's hard to read the letters on it during a bright day.

I purchased a dozen Vice matte red balls last year and liked them. I typically play white, however, I would order the red ones again.

I'm not a huge fan of colored balls. I saw the matte white Volviks the other day and they looked interesting, but not enough for me to buy any to try.

The Titleist AVX comes in yellow, first TOUR ball from Titleist to come in a color I believe. Its not matte though.

Canada just got the Wilsons in matte in. I bought the orange one and live the look. I think it will help my eyes in finding them this summer.

I tried some of the Duo Optix late in the year (in Ohio = very soft conditions).  I liked the soft feel in the cold and they had very good distance. I think the matte color (I had the neon green) does make them easier to pick up because you don't get glare off the ball that blends with the glare off the wet leaves and grass.

However, I did feel like they picked up more mud and it tended to adhere more firmly to them than on gloss balls. I had a couple of really severe "mud flights" that I don't often see (again, it was very soft the day I played these). That was just one outing, though. I plan to give them another shot in dryer conditions, but wondered if anyone had a similar experience.

I have been playing the Lime Green Volvik Vivid (matte finish) for the last year and really like them for $30ish range. Easier for me to track through the air and to spot from a distance...you definitely know which ball is yours from a distance.

I bought a single ball, green Matte original volvik vivid from Golf Galaxy and used it last Saturday. It looks great, good distance - but, it has zero feel to it. Wouldn't pay 30-32 a dozen. There are new Viviks (light and soft) coming out soon but, they are too pricey.
