Who would you like to meet?

I know some of you have met already. There are a handful of guys I would be interested in meeting, like @iacas, @DaveP043, @Lihu, @WUTiger, @RandallT, @mvmac as well as some others.  Maybe one day it will happen.

I'll play golf with almost anyone - at least once, anyway. The list of TST members I wouldn't want to play with would be very short.

Then there is the aspect of internet personas do not always or seldom match in person meetings.  I tend to keep an open mind, but there are a small number that based on what I have observed, I probably would just as soon not meet.  I am sure some would say the same of me.

Being from California, we would of course know to cut you some slack, James.

I suppose there may be a little truth to what you posted, and I'd probably qualify as one of those nut jobs as well. But I think that would be an extreme exception. The boys I met at the Michigan Outing were all very cool.

I just noticed that in this thread category, there does not appear to be a "like" (or "unlike") button, but on others it remains intact.

Pretty much this. Everyone I've met from TST has been great.

I find that the internet and being able to communicate only through text lacks the depth to be able to truly convey one's personality properly. When all you have are words to read, you have no idea what kind of tone the message is being delivered with.

The function is disabled for the Grill Room forum.
