Day 14, June 5th 2023

Range session working on same stuff. Backswing length and right elbow bend. Hands down to right pocket.

First 10 balls were good because I did everything in pieces. Next 10 were meh because I can’t do this at speed yet. Next 10 where good because I went back to stopping at A6 and hitting chips from there.

Day 4

Still working on backswing trying to limit the bend in my elbow/wrist. Found when controlling my elbow more (capped to 90) my wrist was over extending which means far more correction on down swing and more twist.

Breaking it into stages and just holding form to get a proper feel for positioning.

Day 100 (6 Jun 23) - thought I posted yesterday, oh well don’t see it.  Counts a the day “off”.  Today, back to full speed swing focused on tempo using 3w.  Ended the session dropping back to the 6i and hitting hard foam balls.  Still having issues with the left foot (skin breakdown), so I kept the session to about 20mins total in the drills.

Day 1: 6/7/2023

Okay, I had to take a couple of days off. Pinched a nerve in my upper-glute/lower-back area. (That was a pain in the butt.... See what I did there?🤪

Yesterday, the nerve let go and I'm right as rain today. So, I did some chipping and putting at the course at which my children were participating in golf camp today.

My bag is an ever-changing combination of clubs.

A mix I am forever tinkering with.

    • yes I know at my local we have many different tee options(and combos) ... RED,SILVER,GOLD - Yellow,white,blue,black.. putting is by far where I lose the most shots perfect example in the SAT medal I had a woeful 36x putts for a total score of 82..even had a 4 putt on a PAR4!! So playing yellow below will not only take off shots but will force me to really play a much better short game to beat the course 3-4HC I'll get ... my best on average under HC scores comes from the BLUE tees ... the Black makes a few holes so much harder than the 3x extra shots I would get from the usual whites..  Also, I know if my goal was just to get to scratch I could just play the back 9 holes at my local course where I'm generally playing 1-3 over on a good day ..not far away from getting a few 35''s
    • I came so very close to getting my first ever two Eagles in a round in WED COMP this week ...  4th hole PAR5 515 yards (stroke hole 1) ... after I drilled a lower strong drive to the inside corner of the Dogleg left some 240 yards out from one of the toughest elevated sloping downwards greens. I had thought of playing safe 4i get it within 20yds .. but I no thought I'd have a crack ... with my 18 hybrids.. hit it nearly perfectly straight (uncommon with this club) landed front of green rolled to the back green parallel to the pin still tricky side slope 12 ft to the hole ..aim high  dropped low side of the hole YESSSSSSSS!!! my first ever eagle on the 4th !!(tough hole) .. then continued the round till I came to the 11th PAR5 455yards (hole I've eagled several times before)... again strong drive 150-160yards out ...8i to land front of green rolled just past hole some 8ft past ....downhill putt very fast part of the green .. so soft tap ball ran true to move towards left of the hole in half the ball went around the hole and back towards me to stop a fraction out of the hole !!!! what!! never had that before. hit the ball fraction harder than needed !!!! took the birdie moved on gutted ... so close a putt that I should have got
