Having no confidence in his driver cost him on 18. You can't leave yourself 185 uphill when you could have close to 100 needing birdie.

At least he makes it interesting to his last putt. Great to see these scenes again of Tiger walking up 18 on a Sunday afternoon.

I don’t think that’s accurate. He’s pounded it most of the week.

His drive on 5 today was absolutely perfect, his tee shots have been much improved this week.

 

Good run. A 2nd place finish this soon upon his return is promising.

yep... its way ahead of the schedule I had him on... i was thinking mid-late season before a tournament performance like this.

      I don’t know why my swing got so vertical there. That wasn’t normal.    What did you mean by point 3? I get the hip turn portion.

      Patrick Cantlay's strokes gained from 2024: I wonder if he takes more time on approach shots given that was the worst part of his game last season. And then here are his 2023 stats: Much better ball striking season. I wonder if there are any differences in his times between these two seasons. I tend to think he's just slow in general, but it'd be interesting to see his time differences.

      Not sure, I think players have their own pace. Speith was always slow, regardless if he was in contention or not. Well, more so when he was in contention. It might be a push there on that question.
