I’m trying to get out of work early.  I thought it was supposed to start 3 p.m. ET.  Now I see that it’s “in progress” (2:15 et). Is it just a warmup band or did I have my times mixed up?

The broadcast is on, but they don't tee off until noon.  37 minutes and change on the countdown.  Charles Barkley, Samuel L. Jackson, and Pat Perez are talking about it, with others interspersed.

The DO have Samuel Jackson doing commentary. I thought that was just a joke. 

Tried loading it up on the B/R app. It just says “check back closer to event start time” even though it’s started. I pulled it up on a browser and it’s streaming fine. Not sure why the app is inop.

Tiger misses the fairway on one, but that rough is hardly “rough.”

Phil has to birdie or be out $200k.

Tiger to 10 feet. Phil to a little longer, it looks like? He’s under 50% to make that putt, I know that much.

The conversation on their walk from the tee shots to their second was great.  "I'm hitting first" "I hoped you would."

 

Tiger and Phil with great approach shots too.  Sand wedge from 135 yards?  I mean, I can hit a sand wedge from 135 yards too, but I'd end up 60 yards short. ;-)  The only time I can hit a sand wedge 135 yards is if I'm in a greenside bunker.

      Well, I have a 2 hybrid, 4 hybrid and then play 6 iron onwards.  My best clubs are probably the 4 hybrid and the PW.  What I find is that loft is your friend in general which is why my 4 hybrid is so much better than my 2 hybrid.  Definitely disproportionately more so than the 5 or so degrees of difference in loft.  If you have hybrids, play them.  And consider loft as your friend.  Invariably you will get up to a loft where anything less will not get you more distance because of your club head speed.  Essentially the faster you swing the less lofted a club you can hit effectively.  For me it is probably a 4 hybrid and maybe a 7 iron though I could improve both with practice
