I know the answer to this, but I wanted to put it out there as a brain teaser to the rest of you. Just answer the question with a "yes" or "no" - do not give explanations for your answer.

Try to be fair about it and don't go Googling for the answer. There's no bonus for getting it right or anything like that.

I'll come back in a few days and give the answer and explanation.

A plane is standing on a runway that can move (some sort of large conveyer belt). The plane moves in one direction, while the conveyer moves in the opposite direction. The conveyer has a control system that tracks the plane's speed and tunes the speed of the conveyer to be exactly the same, but in the opposite direction. Will the plane take off?

Again, JUST ANSWER YES OR NO. Do not explain anything.

Update: Since you have to type nine characters to provide a legitimate answer, answer instead "Yes, the plane takes off" or "No, the plane doesn't take off."

      Yep. It’s easy to get distracted during the day and hardly drink any water. Our bodies do not have a good systems to warn us early enough. Some tips I like. Drink 16+ ounces of water when you wake up. The body can lose 1-2 lbs of water weight overnight. You are already in the red. If you know you are going to work out, or even walking 9 holes of golf. Drink water before hand and during the exertion. I was curious once, I did a 40 ish minute workout and I lost about 5 lbs of water weight. That is 80 ounces of water I need to replenish. Now I try to drink 24-36 ounces beforehand.  Aim for half an ounce of fluid, per pound of bodyweight, per day. Note, this is baseline not taking into account exercise or strenuous activity. Also, if you eat non processed foods, you can get a good amount through diet. If you eat processed foods, you need to drink more during the day.

      Me too. I tend to drink no less than 64 oz in the winter time. In the summer at least twice that.  I'm prone to cramping and cramping sucks. So, I drink plenty of water. BTW - I've become increasingly prone to cramping as I've aged. Aging sucks also.    Huh?  I'd love to know where you got this information. Did you ask your dog?  I'm not sure if I like or dislike the taste of water. It's water. It's one of the things that makes life on Earth possible.
