I have no idea if this works or doesn't. Having said that, all I could think about when watching this video is that there should have been a hard stop system and mechanical release for his robot. The skeptic in me kept thinking there was a possibility that the guy doesn't pull it back as far when he has the non-pro-core putter and hitting it off the toe. (Human nature, you want something to be true so your subconscious makes it true even if your conscious is telling you to try to be fair.) 

Similarly, I would have liked a controlled surface. The putts being off line could be the result of them losing speed and falling downward, when if they had more speed they would have held the line better. 

Again, I don't know if this device works or not. I'm just saying if they wanted me to be convinced there were definitely some ways to improve their "test".

Absolute bollocks.  If that were true we would have to tune our bags.  How successful is that likely to be?

There used to be a company that made inserts for driver shafts that was supposed to work like this. I can’t find the link or recall the name. There is also Sensicore, which is a foam that is filled into metal shafts to dampen impact vibration. But drivers and irons are moving very fast compared to putters. I don't think this would be very useful with respect to the claims it makes. The head design would be more important to improve MOI.

FWIW, I recent increased the overall weight of an older Cameron putter I had by adding tungsten power into the shaft and a cork plug to hold it in place. Then I put a counter-core Super Sroke grip on it. It increased the putter weight by 80 grams. Increased weight may play just as important a factor as their claim about shaft vibration.

That was a pretty common practice with putters back in the late 80's early 90's. The only difference is we used lead powder not tungsten, and we use to put a glob or two of lead tape on the perimeter of the putter head as well.

It worked pretty well for a number of people IIRC. I seem to recall a few tests being done, but it was awhile ago, and for all I know shaft technology has advanced since then.
