Whenever I've videod my swing on my phone I can't email it because it's too large and I don't use shutterfly or any of those image hosting sights.  I use V1 golf ...but again, file is too big.

Tough crowd here trying to prove your swing is not perfect!  Haha

Surely you’re trimming the video right? I use V1 Golf app as well. But it will be in a format not used here I believe. It’s real simple using YouTube as @iacas said. Just trim it down to the actual swing (a few seconds) then upload to YouTube. Then you can embed the link on the My Swing thread. We’re not a tough crowd, but when you claim on a golf forum you’re a +3 and you pose a question as you have, you’re gonna turn some heads.

Kinda like going on a Drummers website and saying you played back up drums for Pantera then asking how to tune a floor Tom.

I'll have to ask the pro I work with if he can so it.

So just to simplify...I guess I'm looking for drills for " getting left".  Funny how it's seems to be thought of as a hackers problem.

Been looking at some sites online that are a help.  In the future I'll probably just do that.

If you shot 57 flipping/hanging back, I'm gonna quit. I'm going to officially declare 'golf is unsolvable' with a trademark of my own.

Ok, kidding, but really, PLEASE figure out a way to post your swing. We are dying out of curiosity here..

I've learned to live with it.  Play or practice everyday.  It's not a reverse pivot or a huge flip but it's there and it's the reason my launch angle is too high with my irons.

I didn't know u could post a video on YouTube without an account.  I'll ask at work if he can do it for me.

Isolate the motion in a mirror and see what it feels like. Then do that.

it is pretty easy. I usually upload video in HD to 'Unlisted". Trim the video down if you can. Then just copy the video link by right clicking on the video. Then paste in a My Swing thread.

You can set up an account too that will save your uploads.

I'll try that the end of the week when I work.  Thanks for the tip!

This is the same guy who said this:

I do not know why he would be trolling-But I feel like he is. Nobody is out there shooting 57 and NEVER shooting above par-But asking these kinds of questions.

No Phil, not " trolling"...whatever that is.   Good players have issues too...So when Tiger is getting stuck and asks for help ( not here) does that mean he is lying about his scores?  Does he suddenly suck?  No.

I am simply looking for help with an issue.  Funny thing is there's more people crapping on me  than there are trying to help.

Not what I expected here.

Thanks to Boogielicious and a few others I'll try posting a video when I'm at work later in the week.  In the meantime I got a few ideas from a few other forums that seem to be helping when I look in the mirror.

@Typhoon92-You can look up what trolling is. I do not think you shot 57 and did not have a single round above par in a year.

But that all to the side-You should know better than to ask for advice without having a video.-Feel is not real. Post a video and you will get help.

"The expert golfer has maximum time to make minimal compensations. The poorer player has minimal time to make maximum compensations." - And no, I'm not Mac. Please do not PM me about it. I just think he is a crazy MFer and we could all use a little more crazy sometimes.

I got a video last nite, I'll post it when I have time.  It's funny u doubt people u don't know for no reason but to each his own.  I had the pro I work with put it on his YouTube account and email it to me.  I'll look at Iacas and boogielicios directions again.

If it's on Youtube, it's as easy at copying the link here and posting.

Why do you need your head to move past the ball? At impact it really should be approx where it was at address. And where it goes after impact is p much irrelevant.

Maybe the issue of it moving off the ball in your backswing is more imp (if it's excessive)?

Exactly my question! That's one of my major bugaboos. If I let my head slide toward the target when I initiate the downswing, I'm going to have a bad day! I see pro swings where their hands are waist high and the club is pointing at the target on the follow through before their head begins coming up.

Maybe the OP is not that flexible, but keep your head behind the ball until it's away. Then come up.

Got it posted in member swings Denny, thank you.

For me flexibility is not an issue, I think no I get too much if the old " reverse C".

What is helping me the most right now is using the mirror without the ball.  Next week I'll get to hitting the ball too and use the video to see if it is Gerri g close to the mirror image.

    • Consider it another way: normally, it's a two-stroke penalty to move your ball out of a bunker (unplayable). The ACC reduces it to just one.
    • No, hitting into a hazard that is supposed to be avoided and is designed to be penalizing is not the same as hitting it into the middle of the fairway.   You are penalized because you hit it into a hazard. Based on your logic let's say you hit it into a red staked penalty area and you could normally play it but it's in temporary casual water from rain. Would you expect a free drop from there too??
    • They could have declared it GUR, sure. It is. It's temporary water, and as I said before, an abnormal course condition (ACC). That's what rule 16 is about — ACCs. No, a bunker ≠ the middle of the fairway. You are penalized because you hit it into a bunker. As for the rest… let's stick to the topic. Yep.
    • It's not dumb. It's dumb to randomly allow a free drop that provides an advantage you don't deserve. And your committee had the option of determining it GUR. Did you talk to them?
    • A sand trap is not supposed to have 3 inches of water in it. To me that’s temporary, casual water. Just like if your ball lands in a deep rain puddle in the middle of the fairway. I would have gladly hit out of any spot in that bunker. I understand that it’s a different rule. I just think it’s a dumb rule. You are penalized because it rained.  Here’s what I think is the dumbest rule in golf, and all sports for that matter - professionals playing for millions of dollars in a tournament have to carry around a little pencil and scorecard to keep their score and sign it, when there are big scoreboards all over the course and on tv. Can you imagine the Knicks losing because they didn’t count their score correctly? Like I said, I love the game, but it’s time to move into the 21st century already.
