@nevets88.....you were right about the Arnold Palmer tees. I asked in the merchandise building if they had any ..the lady just chuckled and said...’yeah no.’ Sorry.

Thanks @Vinsk! I appreciate the effort. They're sold on eBay. A ball and 10 tees for $15. Being that I'm actually gonna use these, forget about it. Planning on going to the craft shop, get some acrylic paint and make them myself, sans the umbrella on the top, that's too hard.

LOL. So true.

Any situation where the ball cannot be flown in and stick on the putting surface seems to confound and frustrate most American players.

At Bay Hill, a good example is number 2 - the 231 yd (on fri) par 3.  Pin was on far left, behind/left of front bunker.  Many, many of the players hit amazing 5-irons and 4-irons into this hole - a very high draw that landed behind bunker as softly as humanly possible and then rolled off the back of the putting surface because it was HARD and FAST.  Some players hit out to the right side of the green with a draw and their balls tended to stick as well as move left leaving a reasonable 30 ft or less putt (albeit fast downhill but a better bet than out of the fringe/rough behind green).  Many of the Euros took the "boring" right-side-of-green approach.

Add all those decisions up over the course of 72 holes and the difference is noticeable.

Basically better course management from the Euros against this week course conditions.

Merch tent was a disappointment this year.

When I see "A Fanatics experience" at any event I sigh. Still got my UA polo from a couple years ago at least.

How are people shot tracing their videos so quickly? I'm guessing there's an app and you tell it where the ball went. Or is this a video of a stream?

    • I know what those are, and they were unofficial. They were mostly to create conversation… and promote Mark McCormack's own clients. What Matt said is correct: Tiger's career spanned 24 years. Regardless, 15 > 19 when factoring in the competition, and 82 >> 72 when doing so.
    • The McCormack rankings started in 1968. They used a nearly identical methodology as the original Sony rankings. except it was a three year look back vs two. Number of good years and total output is what matters when talking about the span of career.  All years are not created equally.
    • The OWGR didn't even exist until Jack was 46 years old. So… What he said is true. Jack turned pro in 1961. He won his last PGA Tour event in 1986. That's 26 years. Tiger turned pro in 1996. He last won a PGA Tour event in late 2019. That's a span of 24 years. What he said is true. Tiger's "career" (not counting 2020-2024 where he played a handful of events each year, like Jack often would) lasted 24 years.
    • People don't realize it because it isn't true.   Tiger had the following money list rankings in years you are counting as part of his career span. 68, 128, 201, 162, NA, NA, 24, 38, 223, 225   Nicklaus didn't drop out of the top 10 in the world golf rankings until he was 44. Nicklaus had 10 more years where he had a top ten finish in a major than Tiger has had as of now.
