  1. Aaahhh.... You must not be very tough..... ;)
  2. I think he was just trying to be helpful.
  3. The lake and the boat are never a bad option.... ;) I fish and play golf. Fishing can be just as frustrating at times as well.
  4. Absolutely. I have sympathy for the user. None at all for the dealer.
  5. The thing is, so much goes into that one stat. You can't really neglect much of your game if you want to have a lot of GIR.
  6. Yes, she had already hit the homer, but had not made it around the bases which is required. If it was all about the competition, the other team would not have helped her. They did the honorable thing. One could say it was her own "mistake" that caused the knee injury and she should have owned up to it. If it was me, and I have the option (in the golf situation) to overlook my opponents breach, that is the option I would choose. Imagine the girl asking the rules official if there was anything that could be done. The official says "well, it is match play, so you do have the option of ignoring the breach." She chooses that option, and this thread is then about the great sportsmanship instead. I also think the "other" sports analogies don't really compare all that well. In most "other" sports the players are actively trying to get away with whatever they can. It's part of the game. Not so in golf.
  7. Idiocy?? Remember this: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/unbelievable-act-of-sportsmanship Would you call that idiocy as well? To me, some things are more important than winning.
  8. Yes. My head stays relatively still. I believe I would rate fairly high at that key. I do not actively think about keeping my head still at all.
  9. I play the Snell My Tour Ball because it is the best and so am I. 1) Jordan Spieth -12 2) Matt Kuchar -12 3) Webb Simpson -12
  10. Add me to the boat owner list. I have had a few and always have been happy to sell them. Still have a boat and try to fish at least once a week from April to November.
  11. I like the sprinkler idea.
  12. Nothing wrong with that. Enjoy the game however you see fit. I have a feeling you care a bit more than this post leads to though.....
  13. I'm thinking it's not actually the money for @David in FL. Otherwise why bother betting such a small amount? It just makes the game more enjoyable for him. Myself? I rarely ever bet on anything. It's not worth it to me.
  14. Hope you get better @JetFan1983.
  15. Congrats!!!
  16. Looks like fun. Hope you keep updating.
  17. I have tried the 1000 reps with no ball. Didn't work for me. I would come home from work for many days in a row, and walk around the yard hitting specific blades of grass, dandelions, etc. Put the ball back down, swing goes to crap. I agree with the slow swing. Swing at the fastest speed you can, while still making a "good" swing. It may be very slow (like hit the ball 20 feet slow).
  18. True. Not a whole lot of pressure when your team nearly sweeps the playoffs. Maybe thats also why he had time to play golf....
  19. I voted never happen.
  20. Agreed. The only other characters (of his) I felt similar "connection" with were those in the Dark Tower series. And that was much longer.
  21. That was an amazingly good book.
  22. Cool. Keep us posted on how you do.
  23. And as the owner, you get the right to tell them that.
  24. With how much hate there is out there for Trump, I'm inclined to think the guy was lying to make him look bad.
