I don't know the exact yardage, but i do it all the time in the Tiger Woods videos games, which we all know are COMPLETELY life-like.

Assuming you cut the corner, it might be possible, but again i don't know the yardage.

Well considering Henrik Stenson rarely uses a driver and regularly hits his 3 wood over 300 yards I'd say it's definitely possible.. if you can hit a 9 iron like a 4 or 5..

And it's a sunny day..

Stats to believe its possible...and lets see, if theres no stats to prove professionals do it, let alone succeed at it with some degree of success...why try it?

Sure it is. Only 543 yards.... Driver at 270, 3 wood at 250 and then a 30 or so yard bump n run with the 9 iron.

Yes, but the point is he can do it when he needs to.

From Golf.com :
"One of the longest hitters on the European Tour, Stenson hit several 3-woods more than 300 yards. On the par-4 15th hole Sunday, he hit the 3-wood 302 yards — without a tee."

If you ever watch the European tour, he does it regularly.

But 300 yards at the 18th at Pebble would still leave you what, over 230 yards?Maybe a naturally long player with a 9-iron that has a modified loft and some serious shaft lean at impact, and a miracle..

Ok your missing to point... There is an aggresive line that no one has the cojones to take on 18... its a 320 yard carry... its line is between the 100 yard long bunker and the white house of in the distance... (not the clubhouse)... leaves about 160 in... 9-iron...

If you can carry a 3-wood 320 yards on that line, I don't see why you couldn't knock a 9-iron on from 160. You're not crazy at all. Go for it!!
